Third Class Constable definition

Third Class Constable means a constable who has served for a period of one (1) year as a Fourth Class Constable and who has been recommended for reclassification by the Chief of Police to Third Class Constable and such reclassification has been approved by the Board.
Third Class Constable means a Member classified and paid as a Third Class Constable.

Examples of Third Class Constable in a sentence

  • A member will be reclassified successfully to Third Class Constable, Second Class Constable and First Class Constable with a corresponding increase in salary in accordance with Schedule A on completion of each twelve (12) months of service from the date of employment to the classification, provided their performance and efficiency have proved satisfactory to the Chief of Police and only upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police.

  • Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing after service satisfactory to the Board and the Chief of Police or twelve (12) months, a Fourth Class Constable shall be entitled to a promotion to the rank and pay of a Third Class Constable.

  • Fourth Class Constable, Group II - 60% Fourth Class Constable, Group I - 65% Third Class Constable - 80% Second Class Constable - 90% First Class Constable - 100% Sergeant, Group Two - 106% Sergeant - 112% Staff Sergeant, Group Two - 115% Staff Sergeant - 123% The group two salaries for Sergeant and Staff Sergeant shall be for one year from the date the member is promoted to that rank by the Board.

  • After service satisfactory to the Board and the Chief of police for a further twelve (12) months, a Third Class Constable shall be entitled to a promotion to the rank and pay of a Second Class Constable.

  • Where the reason for failure to complete the required basic training during the Probationer Constable's first 12 calendar months service following the date of his/her acceptance as a Probationer Constable is beyond the control of the Probationer Constable the Board shall grant the incremental increase to a pay level equal to that of a Third Class Constable with retroactive effect to the first anniversary of his/her date of acceptance as a Probationer Constable.

  • The salary for a Third Class Constable shall be of the salary for the rank of First Class Constable.

  • The salary rank Third Class Constable shall be of the salary for the rank of First Class Constable.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, this shall exclude those positions created for the purpose of job Advancement in class from Fourth Class Constable, to Third Class Constable, to Second Class Constable, to First Class Constable shall be in accordance with the Police Services Act and the regulations thereunder.

  • Cadet Cadet Cadet Cadet I Constable Fourth Class Constable Third Class Constable Second Class Constable First Class Constable Plain Clothes Sergeant Staff Sergeant Progression through the steps for Cadet classification will be based upon a recommendation and merit on an annual basis, not upon the of service.

Related to Third Class Constable

  • Unimpaired Class means an unimpaired Class within the meaning of section 1124 of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Related Classes As to any Uncertificated REMIC I Regular Interest, those classes of Certificates identified as "Related Classes of Certificates" to such Uncertificated REMIC I Regular Interest in the definition of Uncertificated REMIC I Regular Interest.

  • Backward Classes means any socially and educationally Backward Classes of citizens recognized by the Government for purpose of clause (4) of article 15 of the Constitution of India;

  • Scheduled Classes As specified in the Preliminary Statement.

  • Class size means the maximum number of students who can receive instruction together in a special class or resource room program and the number of teachers and supplementary school personnel assigned to the class.

  • Class Coupon Formula The formula specified for each Class of variable rate Notes, as set forth in Appendix I for Original Notes and Appendix II for MAC Notes.

  • Released Class Claims means the claims being released as described in Paragraph 6.2 below.

  • Class 2 A-1 Certificates and Class 1-X Component 2. Group 2 Certificates................ Group 2 Senior Certificates and the Subordinated Component related to Loan Group 2.

  • Initial Class C Note Balance means $152,941,000.

  • CLASS Features means certain CCIS-based features available to Customers, including: Automatic Call Back; Caller Identification and related blocking features; Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting; Selective Call Forward; and Selective Call Rejection.

  • Initial Class D Note Balance means $13,564,000.

  • Initial Class A-2 Note Balance means $235,000,000.

  • Class C Note Balance means, at any time, the Initial Class C Note Balance reduced by all payments of principal made prior to such time on the Class C Notes.

  • Initial Class A-3 Note Balance means $380,000,000.

  • General Unsecured Claims means Claims against any Debtor that are not Secured Claims, Administrative Claims, Priority Claims, Professional Compensation Claims, Intercompany Claims, or Equity Interests.

  • Class C Note Rate means 3.48% per annum.

  • Class A-2 Note Balance means, at any time, the Initial Class A-2 Note Balance reduced by all payments of principal made prior to such time on the Class A-2 Notes.

  • Impaired Class means an impaired Class within the meaning of section 1124 of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Erroneous Payment Impacted Class has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 11.11(d).

  • €STRi-pTBD means, in respect of any TARGET Business Day falling in the relevant Interest Accrual Period, the €STR for the TARGET Business Day falling “p” TARGET Business Days prior to the relevant TARGET Business Day “i”;

  • Settlement Classes means all Persons included in the Electrolytic Settlement Classes and the Film Settlement Classes.

  • Restricted Classes As defined in Section 4.02(e).

  • Class C Notes has the meaning assigned to such term in the Indenture.

  • Accrued Class C Note Interest means, with respect to any Payment Date, the sum of the Class C Noteholders’ Monthly Accrued Interest for such Payment Date and the Class C Noteholders’ Interest Carryover Shortfall for such Payment Date.
