Tier 2 Employees definition

Tier 2 Employees. Each worker hired on or after the establishment of a second pension tier (2% at 60) and included in Tier 2 retirement as defined in Section 23.1 of this agreement shall pay the worker’s seven percent (7%) contribution to CalPERS in accordance with the rules and regulations governing such contributions.
Tier 2 Employees means the Salaried Employees who are identified on Schedule C, consisting of Salaried Employees who are not Plant Employees and whose work relates directly to the support of the Assets.
Tier 2 Employees means all non-Tier 1 members of Organovo’s Executive Team, and such other executives as the Committee shall specify from time to time.

Examples of Tier 2 Employees in a sentence

  • Tier 2 Employees (current employees) are defined as those individuals employed in a full-time position with the City of Fountain Valley beginning August 16, 2009 through August 15, 2010.

  • Tier 2: Employees who have been employed by the district for not less than 11 years but less than 20 years, the benefit shall be $10,000 per year.

  • Employees Hired On or After July 1, 2012 – Classic Members – Tier 2 Employees hired on or after July 1, 2012 and are recognized as “Classic” members by CalPERS are covered by the 2%@60 benefit formula and the highest consecutive thirty-six (36) months compensation formula.

  • Tier 2 Employees who are Tier 2 members of LACERS shall have retirement contribution rates and retirement benefits determined as set forth in the LAAC sections specifically applicable to Tier 2 members, including the provisions of Sections 4.1005-4.1079 and 4.1120-4.1124 applicable to Tier 2 members, and as amended.

  • Tier 2 Employees are defined as those individuals employed in a full-time position with the City of Fountain Valley beginning August 16, 2009 through August 15, 2010.

  • Tier 2 Employees - Tier 2 will include current employees (15-16) with more than 26 years of experience, employees whose salary would decrease with placement on the new salary schedule, or employees whose salary increase would be less than $600 on the Tier I schedule.

  • If participation in CIGNA International is not practicable because such Tier 2 Employee relocates to the United States, the Company shall arrange to provide such Tier 2 Employee (and any eligible dependents), to the extent such benefits were provided by CIGNA International, with insured medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and prescription drug benefits on the same basis as provided for Tier 2 Employees whose job duties are based in the United States.

  • Tier 2: Employees hired on or after January 1, 2013 and who are defined by the Public Employees ’ Pension Act (PEPRA) as “new members: ” The retirement formula is two percent (2%) at 62 years of age.

  • For Tier 2 Employees whose job duties are based in the United States, the benefits shall include insured medical, dental, vision, life insurance, executive supplemental life insurance (if eligible and enrolled as of the Tier 2 Employee’s Severance Date) and prescription drug benefits that are materially similar to the benefits provided for such employees as in effect immediately prior to such Tier 2 Employee’s Severance Date.
