Tier 2 Employees definition

Tier 2 Employees. Each worker hired on or after the establishment of a second pension tier (2% at 60) and included in Tier 2 retirement as defined in Section 23.1 of this agreement shall pay the worker’s seven percent (7%) contribution to CalPERS in accordance with the rules and regulations governing such contributions.
Tier 2 Employees means all non-Tier 1 members of Organovo’s Executive Team, and such other executives as the Committee shall specify from time to time.
Tier 2 Employees means the Salaried Employees who are identified on Schedule C, consisting of Salaried Employees who are not Plant Employees and whose work relates directly to the support of the Assets.

Examples of Tier 2 Employees in a sentence

  • The Administrator (as defined in Section 3 below) shall select the Tier 1 Employees and Tier 2 Employees who may participate in the Plan (a “Participant”).

  • Members of the executive management team of the Company ("Tier 1 Employees") and other key employees of the Company ("Tier 2 Employees") are eligible to participate in the Plan.

  • The Administrator (as defined in Section 3 below) shall select the Tier 1 Employees and Tier 2 Employees who may participate in the Plan (a "Participant").

  • For a period immediately following the Severance Date of (i) 36 months for Tier 1 Employees and (ii) 24 months for Tier 2 Employees, the Company shall arrange to provide the Eligible Employee and his dependents life, disability, accident and health insurance benefits substantially similar to those provided to the Eligible Employee and his dependents immediately prior to the Severance Date, at no greater cost to the Eligible Employee than the cost to the Eligible Employee immediately prior to such date.

  • The Committee may, in its sole discretion, delegate such of its powers as it deems appropriate to the Executive Vice President, Human Resources (or other person holding a similar position) or the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, except that awards to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Employees shall be made, and matters related thereto shall be determined, solely by the Committee or the Board or any other appropriate committee of the Board.

  • If participation in CIGNA International is not practicable because such Tier 2 Employee relocates to the United States, the Company shall arrange to provide such Tier 2 Employee (and any eligible dependents), to the extent such benefits were provided by CIGNA International, with insured medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and prescription drug benefits on the same basis as provided for Tier 2 Employees whose job duties are based in the United States.

  • Either of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer or the Executive Vice President, Human Resources may make awards to Employees other than Tier 1 and Tier 2 Employees.

  • Tier 2 Employees shall receive payment equal to 100% of the sum of (A) the Tier 2 Employee’s Base Salary, plus (B) the Tier 2 Employee’s Target Annual Incentive Payment (with both Base Salary and Target Annual Incentive Payment being determined without regard to any decrease in such Base Salary or Target Annual Incentive Payment that would constitute a basis for a Good Reason Resignation).

  • For Tier 2 Employees whose job duties are based in the United States, the benefits shall include insured medical, dental, vision, life insurance, executive supplemental life insurance (if eligible and enrolled as of the Tier 2 Employee’s Severance Date) and prescription drug benefits that are materially similar to the benefits provided for such employees as in effect immediately prior to such Tier 2 Employee’s Severance Date.

  • The balance of such benefits shall be paid in 13(for Tier 2 Employees) or 39 (for Tier 1 Employees) equal bi-weekly installments as of such number of subsequent regular payroll dates of the Company.

Related to Tier 2 Employees

  • Designated Employees means a person occupying any of the following position in the Company:

  • Continuing Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.9(a).

  • Eligible Employees means each employee of the Company or an Affiliate.

  • Current Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(a).

  • Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.

  • Hired Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1(a).

  • Affected Employees means those employees who are exposed to the hazard(s) identified as a violation(s) in a citation.

  • Excluded Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.1.2.

  • Transferred Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(a).

  • Key Employees means each of the following individuals: Xxx Xxxxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxxxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxxxx and Xxxxx Xxxxxxx.

  • Company Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.10(a).

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • Separated employees means persons who separate from

  • Former Employees means a former member of management of Icahn Enterprises (or any of its Subsidiaries (including any Guarantors)), other than the Principal, who voluntarily or upon any other termination is no longer employed by any of Icahn Enterprises or any of its Subsidiaries (including any Guarantors) and who holds Equity Interests that are required to be redeemed or purchased pursuant to any contractual requirements upon such termination of employment.

  • Casual Employees means employees who are employed on a casual basis and includes persons who are employed for periods not exceeding five days at any one time.

  • Continuing Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).

  • Transferred Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(a).

  • Relevant Employees means the employees of the Contractor (including the Transferring Employees) who are wholly or mainly assigned to work in the provision of the Services and who are/will be the subject of a Relevant Transfer by virtue of the application of the TUPE Regulations.

  • Qualifying Employee means any employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries who is and has been an employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries for at least thirty-six (36) months.

  • Retained Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.1.

  • Public employees retirement system means the retirement plan and program

  • Medical Benefits Schedule means the Medicare Schedule of Benefits produced by the Department of Health to which all fees and benefits relate for inpatient hospital services.

  • Covered Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 5.11(a).

  • Part-Time Employees means employees employed on a permanent basis, but obligated to work less than a full (i.e., forty-hour) work week.
