University police officer definition

University police officer means an officer who is employed by the university police department, who has met the requirements of s. 165.85 (4) (a) 2. and 7. a., and who has agreed to accept the duties of a law enforcement officer under the laws of this state.
University police officer means a police officer employed by the chief executive officer of: (A) Any state educational institution under the control and supervision of the state board of regents; or (B) a municipal university.
