Unsightly Premises definition

Unsightly Premises means any Property, whether land, buildings, improvements to lands and buildings, personal property or any other combination of the above, located within the Village that, in the opinion of a Designated Officer, is unsightly to such an extent as to detrimentally affect the repose, amenities, use, value or enjoyment of the surrounding Properties in reasonable proximity to the Unsightly Premises, or is otherwise detrimental to the surrounding area or in an Unsightly condition as defined by the Municipal Government Act.
Unsightly Premises means any property or part of it which is characterized by visual evidence of a lack of general maintenance and upkeep by the excessive accumulation on the premises of:
Unsightly Premises means in respect of a Building, includes a Building whose exterior shows signs of significant physical deterioration, and in respect of land, includes land that shows signs of a serious disregard for general maintenance or upkeep.

  • Owners of all designated heritage properties shall keep their buildings and land in a good state of repair, subject to review and enforcement under the Summerside Dangerous, Hazardous and Unsightly Premises Bylaw SS-18.Section 6.

Unsightly Premises means any premises or part of any premises upon which litter is deposited in such circumstances as to cause or contribute or tend to, the defacement of the premises;
