Virtual Visit definition

Virtual Visit means a service provided for the diagnosis or treatment of non-emergency medical and/or behavioral health illnesses or injuries as described in the Virtual Visits provision under the Accident and Sickness Medical Expense Benefits section of this Policy.
Virtual Visit means a Fixed Period Visit, Hourly Visit or Multiple Patient Visit with a Patient or Caregiver (or with the principal, teachers or educational assistants in the case of Services delivered to a child in a public, private or home school) to provide one or more Services that is carried out remotely using communications technology and that meets the following requirements:

  • Benefits are also provided for a Specialist Virtual Visit which is subsequent to the Member’s initial Visit with his or her treating Specialist for the same condition.

  • The Insured does not have to establish a relationship with a Virtual Visit Provider to receive services.

  • SHL will not refuse to provide coverage because of the distant site from which the contracted Virtual Visit Provider provides Covered Services or the originating site at which the Insured receives Virtual Visit Covered Services.

  • The Receiving Party agrees not to record, print, copy, reproduce, distribute, license, transfer, sale, retransmit, upload, download, store, display in public, alter, modify or create derivative works of the content of the Virtual Visit or any part thereof other than for purposes of the Virtual Visit and the report thereof.

  • The Member does not have to establish a relationship with a Virtual Visit Provider to receive services.

  • HPN will not refuse to provide coverage because of the distant site from which the contracted Virtual Visit Provider provides Covered Services or the originating site at which the Member receives Virtual Visit Covered Services.

  • The Receiving Party is solely responsible for ensuring the security of the means of transmitting the content of the Virtual Visit from the Disclosing Party’s facilities to the Receiving Party.

  • The Company will pay the arbitrator’s fees and arbitration expenses and any other costs unique to the arbitration hearing, in each case, that would not otherwise be incurred in connection with filing a claim in court of law, provided that that each side bears its own deposition, witness, expert and attorney’s fees and other expenses to the same extent as if the matter were being heard in court.

  • The Parties hereby agree and confirm that [the visual and any other content provided during any Virtual Visit is the property of the Disclosing Party and is the Confidential Information of the Disclosing Party subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement and is to be used by the Receiving Party for no purpose other than the Virtual Visit.

  • SHL will not refuse to provide coverage because of the distant site fromwhich the contracted Virtual Visit Provider provides Covered Services or the originating site at which the Insured receives Virtual Visit Covered Services.

Related to Virtual Visit

  • Virtual Machine means a software container that can run its own operating system and execute applications like a physical machine.

  • Virtual Card means a non-physical Card, the use of which is limited to online, phone or mail order purchases and which cannot be used to make a cash withdrawal from an ATM or bank. Any reference to cash withdrawals or to a Physical Card in this Agreement excludes the Virtual Card.

  • Site Visit means a visit to the Site; and

  • Virtual Collocation shall have the meaning set forth in Sections 8.1.1.1 and 8.

  • BT Network means the communications network owned or leased by BT and used to provide a Service.
