Home School. For Evaluation purposes, a traveling teacher's home school will be designated as the school in which the teacher is assigned the most time. The home school principal/assistant principal will complete the annual evaluation for the traveling teacher, with input from the principal(s) from the other schools to which the teacher is assigned.
Home School. The home school for a traveling teacher shall be the school where the teacher is assigned the largest piece of FTE (full-time equivalency). Should the assignment between buildings be of equal FTE, the home school shall be determined by the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Personnel and the teacher shall be notified of the home school at the time that the assignment is made. However, should the assignment between buildings be of equal FTE and one of those buildings was designated as the teacher’s home school from the previous year, the designation shall remain for the current year.
Home School. It shall be the responsibility of the Home School to: 1. Ensure that courses are coordinated with the high school curriculum and credit is awarded. 2. Verify the student is eligible for Dual Enrollment in accordance with Section 1007.271, Florida Statutes, and provide proof of enrollment in a home education program pursuant to Section 1002.41, F.S. Failure to provide this information makes the student ineligible for dual enrollment. 3. Follow all registration procedures and deadlines of the University. All Dual Enrollment students are responsible for officially withdrawing from classes they are no longer attending in accordance with published University requirements and deadlines. Students who do not officially withdraw from a class may receive a failing grade, which becomes part of the permanent transcript records and could have a negative effect on future college admissions, scholarship opportunities, and/or financial aid. The Home School is responsible for advising the student in all aspects relating to dual enrollment. 4. Not utilize UCF’s name, logos, trademarks or images, or the images or names of any UCF employee or official in any fundraising, publicity, advertising or media release without the prior written consent of UCF on each occasion, which may be given only by the UCF Xxxx of Undergraduate Studies or her designee.

A Description of the Process by which Students and Their Parents are Informed about Opportunities for Student Participation in the Dual Enrollment Program It is the joint responsibility of the College and the Education Provider to inform students of availability and access to Dual Enrollment and Early Admission Programs. In addition, students and parents are directed to the Basic Course Information (BCI) document to know the expectations of each course. BCI’s are found in an electronic catalog at the xxxx.xxx website. Parents and students are advised to read the catalog for information about services, procedures, regulations, and program and course information. Students and parents are referred to the College website’s Dual Enrollment page for application instructions, information, and materials. They may also contact the college’s Advising Office for additional information and assistance. The Education Provider provides information for parents and students about the dual enrollment opportunities described herein and provides guidance through school counselors. Further descriptions may be found in the addendum for a particular education provider. Dual Enrollment Program students and all required exchange of course or student information from the College to the Education Provider will be the responsibility of the Education Provider’s Dual Enrollment Liaison. The College Advising Office is responsible for the verification of application for admission, eligibility, test scores, and registration of all qualified students in classes offered at a high school site or on the College’s campus. The Education Provider’s communication about class offerings, scheduling of classes, textbook materials, faculty concerns, questions, or issues will be directed to the appropriate Xxxx of Academic Affairs at the College. Parents are advised that the Education Provider assumes all counseling, advising, and guidance responsibilities.   • Middle School At the request of the Superintendent, a middle school teacher may volunteer on a semester basis to teach all the student contact time and be paid one-sixth (1/6) of his/her salary for the semester. This section shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of additional full time teachers.

  • MIDDLE SCHOOLS 1. Where there are no negotiated provisions concerning the implementation or operation of a middle school program, this article shall govern the implementation or operation of a middle school program in a school district. 2. Should the employer seek to establish a middle school program in one or more schools in a district, the employer and the local shall meet, no later than ten (10) working days from a decision of the employer to implement a middle school program, in order to negotiate any alternate or additional provisions to the Collective Agreement which are necessary to accommodate the intended middle school program. 3. In the absence of any other agreement with respect to the instructional day and preparation time, the provisions of the Collective Agreement with regard to secondary schools shall apply to middle schools. 4. If the employer and the local are unable to agree on what, if any, alternate or additional provisions of the collective agreement are necessary to accommodate the intended middle school program(s), either party may refer the matter(s) in dispute to expedited arbitration for final and binding resolution pursuant to Article D.5.5 below. a. The jurisdiction of the arbitrator shall be limited to the determination of alternate or additional provisions necessary to accommodate the intended middle school program(s). b. In the event the arbitration is not concluded prior to the implementation of the middle school program, the arbitrator will have remedial authority to make appropriate retroactive modifications and adjustments to the agreement. c. The arbitration shall convene within thirty (30) working days of referral to arbitration in accordance with the following: i. Within ten (10) working days of the matter being referred to arbitration, the parties shall identify all issues in dispute; ii. Within a further five (5) working days, there shall be a complete disclosure of particulars and documents; iii. Within a further five (5) working days, the parties shall exchange initial written submissions; iv. The hearing shall commence within a further ten (10) working days; and v. The arbitrator shall render a final and binding decision within fifteen (15) working days of the arbitration concluding. 6. Where a middle school program has been established on or prior to ratification of the 2006-2011 Provincial Collective Agreement, the existing provisions shall be retained unless the parties mutually agree that they should be amended.

  • School Any public elementary or secondary school including a charter school, universal pre- kindergarten program authorized pursuant to Education Law § 3602-e, an approved provider of preschool special education, any other publicly funded pre-kindergarten program, a school serving children in a special act school district as defined in Education Law § 4001, an approved private school for the education of students with disabilities, a State-supported school subject to the provisions of Article 85 of the Education Law, or a State-operated school subject to the provisions of Articles 87 or 88 of the Education Law.

  • University Any notice may be served upon the University by delivering it, in writing, to the University at the address set forth on the last page of this Agreement, by depositing it in a United States Postal Service deposit box with the postage fully prepaid and with the notice addressed to the University at the aforementioned address, or by sending a facsimile of it to the University facsimile number set forth on the last page of this Agreement.

  • Pueblo scholarship This articulation transfer agreement replaces all previous agreements between ACC and CSU-Pueblo in Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. This agreement will be reviewed annually and revised (if necessary) as mutually agreed.
