Visa Debit definition

Visa Debit means Visa Debit card issued for individuals (consumers).
Visa Debit means the ability to use the Visa network to process certain Debit Card transactions through your deposit Account linked to your Debit Card. “Visa Secure* ” is a service that provides you with increased security when you make online purchases with merchants who participate in the program.

  • Computer Networks Customer may only install and operate Licensed Products on computer systems and networks situated in the applicable Designated Country.

  • The Bank may terminate access to the Bank’s ATM and/or Visa Debit Card Services at any time for any reason, including without limitation (i) with respect to any recipient of transfers, if the Bank believes in its sole discretion that there are an excessive number of disputes involving customer use, or (ii) with respect to any third party, if the Bank believes in its sole discretion that the third party has initiated disputes without reasonable cause or in bad faith.

  • For disputes involving the unauthorized use of your Visa Debit Card for Visa point-of-sale transactions, we will provisionally credit your Account within 5 business days.

  • We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit and Diners Club.

  • You also agree to release the Bank and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all claims, demands and damages between persons using and accepting the Bank’s ATM and Visa Debit Cards issued to you, including any claims, demands or damages arising out of or related to the purchase or sale of goods or services.

  • To initiate a Visa Debit transaction, you may sign a receipt, provide a card number or swipe your card through a point-of-sale (POS) terminal and choose to route the transaction over a Visa network.

  • Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit and MasterCard Debit will incur an additional non-refundable 2% administration fee on any transaction.

  • Lost or Stolen Card or Unauthorized Transactions‌ Notify us immediately if your ATM Card, Visa Debit Card or PIN or other access code has been lost or stolen or used without your permission.

  • An administration fee of 4.5% for American Express and Diners Club and 2% for Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit and MasterCard Debit will apply.

  • Unless you have been grossly negligent or have engaged in fraud, you will not be liable for any unauthorized transactions using your lost or stolen Visa Debit Card.

Related to Visa Debit

  • Debit means a charge or an amount of money somebody must pay. If we debit money to you or debit money to your account, that money is then added to the unpaid balance and the unpaid balance becomes larger. In this case “charge” and “debit” have similar meanings.

  • Credit Card Account means the Account of the Cardmember opened with Maybank for the purpose of this Agreement;

  • Credit card means any card, plate, coupon book, or other credit device ex- isting for the purpose of obtaining money, property, labor, or services on credit.

  • Card Account means the account maintained with the Bank in respect of the card;

  • Debit Card means a card issued by the Financial Institution that allows the holder of the card to deposit cash and/or Instruments or withdraw cash from the Account through an ATM, authorize Transactions on the Account through an ATM, and that operates like an Instrument to purchase goods and services from merchants.

  • Private label credit card means any charge card, credit card, or other instrument serving a similar purpose that carries, refers to, or is branded with the name or logo of a vendor and that can only be used for purchases from the vendor.

  • Direct Debit means a payment service for debiting a payer’s payment account, where a payment transaction is initiated by the payee on the basis of the payer’s consent given to the payee, to the payee’s payment service provider or to the payer’s own payment service provider;

  • Card Transactions means the value of goods and services purchased by means of the Card, and evidenced by sales receipt, or cash withdrawals effected with his Card, or at any point of sale.

  • Investment Accounts means the Collateral Account, Securities Accounts, Commodities Accounts and Deposit Accounts.

  • Transaction Account means a cash account established and maintained by Repo Custodian for the Funds to effect repurchase transactions pursuant to the Master Agreement.

  • Cardholder Agreement means the agreement between Bank and a Cardholder governing the terms and use of a Card.

  • Card Transaction means any purchase of goods and/or services or any transfer or cash advances effected by the use of a Card;

  • ACH means automated clearing house transfers.
