Work Force Housing definition

Work Force Housing means a single or a conglomerate of living quarters and their appurtenances; for its employees, either by the business or a work force housing owner or operator at the request of the business, offered to the employees at a fee as sleeping rooms, regardless of whether meals or other amenities are provided on site. The housing is not a conventional hotel, motel, recreational vehicle park, mobile home park, or campground. The housing is not a facility that provides parking and hookups for individually owned recreational vehicles, fifth wheels, camper trailers, pop up campers, pickup trucks with on-board campers or similar units. Work Force Housing may only be occupied by employees of a requesting business.
Work Force Housing means housing meeting the income limits and maximum price/values of Section 462C.03, subdivisions 2 and 3 of the Municipal Housing Programs Act, and/or the affordability standard of Section 462C.05, subdivision 2, of the Municipal Housing Programs Act.
