Years of Plan Service definition

Years of Plan Service means the number of full calendar years the Employee has been employed by the Bank beginning on the Effective Date.
Years of Plan Service means "Years of Plans and Association Service" as such term is defined and credited under the Pension Plan for Plan Years beginning on or after the later of the Participant's employment with the Company or January 1, 1994.
Years of Plan Service means the number of months since his most recent employment date (or such earlier date as set forth in a resolution pursuant to Section 3.01(b) that applies with respect to his most recent employment date) during which an individual is an Active Participant, divided by 12. For purposes of this calculation, an individual shall be deemed to be an Active Participant for any month in which he is an Active Participant for one or more calendar days. Unless stated otherwise, a Participant’s Years of Plan Service shall be the sum of his service as an Active Participant (as determined under the first two sentences of this Section 2.01(jj)) since January 29, 2004 plus his Years of Appendix A Service or Years of Appendix B Service, if any.

Examples of Years of Plan Service in a sentence

  • The Plan Administrator, in its sole discretion, may also grant additional Years of Plan Service in such circumstances where it deems such additional service appropriate.

  • In the event that a former Participant whose Agreement has been terminated as provided in the previous sentence becomes reemployed at Tier III, II or I and, as a result of such promotion to Tier III, II or I, becomes eligible to participate in the Plan, such Eligible Employee shall be credited with the number of Years of Plan Service that the Eligible Employee has already completed for purposes of determining Years of Plan Service accrued under Section 3(b).

  • The Normal Retirement or death benefits under this Plan for a Participant who is not listed on Schedule A shall become 100% accrued upon the completion of five (5) Years of Plan Service, regardless of the Tier at which the Participant is employed at the time of the Participant's Normal Retirement or death.

  • Each Member shall receive credit under this Plan for two (2) Years of Plan Service for each one (1) year of Credited Service accumulated by such Member.

  • A Participant's Disability benefits under this Plan shall become 100% accrued after the completion of (i) a total of twenty (20) Years of Service and (ii) ten (10) Years of Plan Service, regardless of the Tier at which the Participant is employed at the time of the Participant's Disability.

  • The Plan Benefit of each Member shall be (a) the Member’s Accrued Supplemental Pension under the Supplemental Plan calculated without regard to the Statutory Limits and as if the Member’s total years of Credited Service thereunder equaled his or her Years of Plan Service under Section 5.01 minus (b) the benefit actually payable to the Member from the Pension Plans.

  • Any questions regarding the number of Years of Plan Service that the Eligible Employee has previously completed shall be determined by the Committee, in its sole discretion, in accordance with Company policy on such matters.

  • However, if the Participant retires before age 60, but the Participant has completed (i) a total of twenty (20) Years of Service and (ii) ten (10) Years of Plan Service, his entitlement to receive a Plan Benefit is in the sole discretion of the Committee.

  • The Early Retirement benefits under this Plan shall become 100% accrued after the Participant's completion of (i) a total of twenty (20) Years of Service and (ii) ten (10) Years of Plan Service, regardless of the Tier at which the Participant is employed at the time of the Participant's Early Retirement.

  • If the Participant separates from service at or after age 65, upon such separation from service, he will be entitled to receive a Plan Benefit that will be distributed in monthly payments (or such other periodic payments as the Committee and the Participant may agree) for a fifteen (15) year period beginning on the Benefit Commencement Date provided that a Participant who is not listed on Schedule A has completed five (5) Years of Plan Service.

For purposes of this definition, a year of employment shall be a 365 day period (or 366 day period in the case of a leap year) that, for the first year of employment, commences on the Employee's date of hiring and that, for any subsequent year, commences on an anniversary of that hiring date. Any partial year of employment shall not be counted.

  • Vesting Service of an employee means the period or periods of service credited to him under the provisions of Article II for purposes of determining his vested interest in his Employer Contributions Sub-Account, if Employer Contributions are provided for under either Article VI or Article XXII.
