Research objectives. The objective of this research activity is the physico-chemical characterization and the thermal and physical stability assessment of extracts (based on protein, lipid and polysaccharide) from residual biomass. Advanced analytical techniques will be used, auch as Rheometry and Differential Scanning Calorimetry, for the study of the physical and thermal stability. Topics of the interview: The interview will aim to assess the knowledge of the candidate about the analytical techniques (Rheometry and Differential Scanning Calorimetry) from a theoretical and practical point of view. Three questions will be asked to the candidate to assess the aforementioned objective. Research objectives. The grant holder will have to carry out a wide-ranging investigation into the possible role of trade union organizations and public bodies in the design and application of social finance tools. Starting from the research results obtained by the other units, the grant holder will have to: 1) carry out a survey, also at a comparative level, of the legal models used for the implementation of this type of economic projects and, in particular, verify through which legal instruments collective organizations and public administrations are involved; 2) identify the most functional contractual models for the involvement of social partners and public bodies in the creation of social finance instruments; 3) analyze all the inherent legal problems and develop possible solutions.
Research objectives. The research activity will involve perusing, reading and summarising the normative content of Xxxxxxxxx'x individual constitutions dating from the years 527-534 and collected in the Codex. The overall recognition of this imperial legislation will be followed by the preparation of the actual digital archive, which will contain the systematic exposition of the content of the imperial norms. Within the identified partitions the constitutions will be indexed according to the order of the books and titles and in chronological order. The essential normative content of each provision will be reported concisely and comprehensively with reference both to the systematic partition in which it is included and to different systematic partitions in the event that different legal issues are touched upon in the constitution or distinct figu res are involved (e.g. bishops or clerics or monks).
Research objectives. The candidate will be asked upon to investigate the dynamics of transformation of city places and public spaces by prefiguring the change brought about by the introduction of autonomous driving vehicles in the urban environment, as an integral part of a mobility system. The candidate will be called upon to analyse implementation scenarios of the proximity city through the Urban Strategic Design methodology and introducing the variables brought about by the diffusion of autonomous driving vehicles in one or more case studies.
Research objectives. The post-doc researcher will have to develop new deep learning architectures for instance segmentation and classification of multi-spectral satellite images with the goal of extracting from them information about the type and status of existing cultures. He/she will also have to study an integrated system which exploits also other information gathered from different sources (field analyses, meteo information, air quality monitoring, etc.) with the aim of building a decision support system that eases the irrigation and release of pesticides in an ecological and economical sustainable way.
Research objectives. The research activity will focus on the development of algorithms based on machine learning and artificial intelligence for the management of data collected by automatic monitoring systems, characterised by the use of multi-parameter sensors. In particular, different approaches for analysing the processing of collected data will be explored, focusing on the identification and prediction of potentially critical trends for early warning purposes. The techniques developed will be applied in the field of geotechnical and infrastructural monitoring, with particular attention to the control over time of the conditions of buildings and infrastructures with innovative instrumentation.
