Observation Date means each date specified as an Observation Date in the applicable Final Terms, or if any such date is not a Scheduled Trading Day, the immediately following Scheduled Trading Day unless, in the opinion of the Calculation Agent, any such day is a Disrupted Day. If any such day is a Disrupted Day, then the provisions contained in the definition of "Averaging Date" shall apply mutatis mutandis as if references in such provisions to "Averaging Date" were to "Observation Date";

Examples of Observation Date in a sentence

  • The Calculation Agent shall give notice as soon as practicable to the Holders in accordance with General Condition 11 of the occurrence of a Disrupted Day on any day that, but for the occurrence of a Disrupted Day, would have been the Strike Date, an Averaging Date, an Observation Date or a Valuation Date, as the case may be or on a Knock-in Determination Day or a Knock-out Determination Day, as the case may be.

  • For the avoidance of doubt: For each Observation Date the Coupon shall be paid only once.

  • If these requirements are not met, no Coupon is paid in relation to this Observation Date.

  • If the Price of all Underlyings on such date is equal to or higher than the respective Express Level, the UBS Memory Express (Multi) Certificates will expire early on such Observation Date and the Securityholder is entitled to receive the Nominal Amount plus the Additional Amount.

More Definitions of Observation Date

Observation Date means each date specified as an Observation Date in the applicable Final Terms. The provisions contained in the definition of "Averaging Date" shall apply mutatis mutandis as if references in such provisions to "Averaging Date" were to "Observation Date";
Observation Date means each date so specified in the relevant Final Terms, provided that if "Observation Date subject to Averaging Date or Valuation Date adjustment" is specified to be applicable in respect of such date in the relevant Final Terms, then the provisions of Asset Term 2 shall apply to such date as if it were an Averaging Date or a Valuation Date, as the case may be.
Observation Date means the dates specified as such in the applicable Final Terms or, if any such day is not a Scheduled Custom Index Business Day, the immediately succeeding Scheduled Custom Index Business Day unless, in the opinion of the Calculation Agent, such day is a Disrupted Day, in which case the provisions of Index Security Condition 0 (Modification and Cessation of Calculation of a Custom Index and Custom Index Disruption) below shall apply;
Observation Date means the fifth Banking Day prior to each Redemption Date and each Call Date and the Maturity Date. If such day is not a Calculation Date, the immediately following day, which is a Calculation Date, shall be the respective Observation Date.
