2nd Scheduled Day Off Premium. An employee shall be paid 2 times his regular rate of pay for work performed on his 2nd scheduled day off, provided he has actually worked 40 straight time hours in the workweek. Note: The 2nd scheduled day off principle of double time pay shall apply to: (1) the 1st scheduled day off for those employees on a 6-day schedule, and (2) the 7th day of the workweek for those employees on a 7-day emergency schedule, and (3) the 7th day of the workweek for those employees scheduled less than 5 days.

  • Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.

  • Shift Premium Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 1500 and 0700 hours.

  • Sunday Premium All hours worked by an Employee on Sunday, shall be paid for on the basis of one and one-half (1½) times the Employee’s Regular Rate of Pay. For the purpose of this Section, Sunday shall be deemed to be the twenty-four (24) hours beginning with the shift change hour nearest to 12:01 a.m.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Night Shift Premium Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5.00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

  • Benefits – Prepayment or Repayment of Premiums During Unpaid Portion of Leave 11.4.1 Teachers may prepay or repay benefit premiums payable during the duration of parental leave.
