Abandonment of Employment. Should If an Employee have has three (3) consecutive days of unauthorised absence from workwork without explanation, the Employer will make reasonable efforts to contact the Employee. If the Employer is unable to make contact with the Employee, then the Employer may consider that the Employee has abandoned their employment. In such circumstance, the Employee shall may be deemed subject to have abandoned their disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, unless, through exceptional circumstances they have been unable to communicate their absence to the Company.
