ACCESS TO NEW BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES/NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION. The Employer will provide adequate notice of orientation and a list of new employees being oriented to both the Union Organizer designated for the facility and the members’ Advocate(s) at each facility and the Union shall be afforded at least thirty (30) minutes with new bargaining unit employees with the intention to orient them to the Agreement, sign the membership card and other union business or activities during their new employee orientation. In the event scheduling does not allow a representative of the Union to attend the orientation, a Union Representative or Advocate will be allowed thirty (30) minutes to meet with each new employee during the new employees’ work shift. Member Advocates conducting orientation work shall be paid for that time.
