Accrual Rate Upon Re. employment, Reinstatement, or Rehire. An employee shall retain the same vacation accrual rate in existence at the time of termination upon appointment from a Re-employment List; reinstatement into the Competitive Service; or rehire within one year of termination. When a rehire is more than one year from the date of termination, the vacation accrual rate shall be the same as applied to a new employee.
