Accruals on No Pay Status. 10 (A) There shall be no leave time accrual for employees absent for more than thirty 11 (30) consecutive calendar days while on a no pay status except in accordance 12 with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). All leave is subject to the 13 approval of the Fire Chief or designee with Annual Leave approved in advance. 14 (B) No pay status must be pre-approved by the Fire Chief.

  • Probationary Status This article shall not apply to an employee in probationary status who shall have no right to grieve or arbitrate release from such probationary appointment.
