Accrued Time Off (ATO Sample Clauses

Accrued Time Off (ATO. Where hours are worked in excess of the ordinary hours at the request of the employee, and agreed to by the employer, they shall accrue as ATO. ATO is not available to employees at or above TMVC Level3, casual employees or sessional employees. Accrual of ATO is to be considered a privilege and not a right. Where an employee is considered to have abused the privilege of ATO, the Executive General Manager may withdraw the privilege. Managers and employees share the day-to-day responsibility for ATO and both will take that responsibility seriously. In general, where an employee is seeking to take their accrued ATO, the manager will consider work requirements as the priority when approving the request. Holding of ATO credits does not permit unauthorised absences from the agreed work routine. ATO credits will be paid out on cessation of employment for any reason. Where agreed, ATO may move into a debit of 15 hours with excess debits treated as non attendance and the employee's pay adjusted. Alternatively, an adjustment may be made against the employee’s annual leave accrual. ATO debits will be deducted from the employee's final monies on separation from The Travel Doctor –TMVC.
