Common use of Accumulation of Annual Vacation Clause in Contracts

Accumulation of Annual Vacation. (a) On each annual vacation eligibility date a full-time employee (including employees who are on approved leave of absence) will be eligible for annual vacation each year, dependent upon his/her Company service date nearest to his/her annual vacation eligibility date in accordance with the following schedule: (b) Calendar days in excess of thirty (30) on leave of absence and all calendar days on layoff during the year prior to the employee's eligibility date are deducted from his/her vacation credits at the rate of 1/365th of his/her vacation eligibility for each such day. (Employees who return to the payroll from military service with reinstatement rights will be treated as if they had been on leave of absence).
