Additional Assignments and Compensation Sample Clauses

The "Additional Assignments and Compensation" clause defines the terms under which an employee or contractor may be given tasks beyond their original scope of work, along with the corresponding payment or benefits for these extra duties. Typically, this clause outlines the process for assigning new responsibilities, such as requiring written approval or specifying how compensation will be calculated for the added work. Its core function is to ensure both parties have a clear understanding of expectations and remuneration when work requirements change, thereby preventing disputes over workload and pay.
