Adequate Training. Nuance does not give a specific limit on the amount of Question/Answer support that it will give, but assumes that the existing System/Site Administrative Contact will be adequately trained. If, for a period of two consecutive weeks, Company calls Nuance persistently for question/answer support, and Company’s System/Site Administrative Contact(s) have not previously attended the appropriate Nuance training class, then Company agrees to send those individuals to the Nuance classes at the then- standard rates, or, alternatively, meet with Nuance to review the situation. For the purposes of this Section, the term "persistently" shall mean multiple telephone calls with questions every day. If no backup device is defined, the alert will go the primary device. Also at Backup, Nuance support staff is notified. The Ordering Clinician is responsible for retrieving and acknowledging the Critical Results message. Nuance support staff will make one (1) attempt to contact the Ordering Clinician via a phone call. The conversation will be documented in the Message Notes via the PS360|Critical Results web application. End Escalation/Fail- Safe A final escalation event that will send an alert to a fail-safe device defined in the Ordering Clinician’s profile. If no fail-safe device is defined, the alert will go the primary device. Also at End Escalation, Company facility’s Coordinator is sent an alert. Related to Adequate Training

  • Adequate Staffing Provider must assign and maintain during the term of this Agreement and any Renewal Terms, an adequate staff of competent personnel that is fully equipped, trained, licensed as appropriate, available as needed, and qualified to perform the Services. If the Board determines, in its sole discretion, that any employee, subcontractor, or other person providing Services for Provider is not performing in accordance with the performance standards or other requirements of this Agreement, including but not limited to negatively affecting the safety or welfare of a CPS student, then the Board shall have the right to direct Provider to remove that person from performing Services under this Agreement.

  • Adequate Consideration The parties hereto irrevocably stipulate and agree that they have each received adequate and independent consideration for the performance of the obligations they have undertaken pursuant to this Amendment.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • General Training 417. The City will use its best efforts to provide Local 21 represented employees with up to forty (40) hours of paid time off for job-related training and/or professional development, which shall include one day of professional development of an employee’s choice, not to be unreasonably denied. Such time may include departmental-sponsored training and/or professional development; DHR sponsored training and/or professional development; and/or outside training and/or professional development approved by appointing officer or designee. The foregoing includes but is not limited to mandatory continuing education and/or training requirements.

  • Specialized Training The Agency agrees to provide state-wide minimum standards of training for specialized assignments or required duties, such as Emergency Response Team, Special Emergency Response Team, and other posts, where use of weapons, use of physical force or breathing apparatus are required.

  • Apprenticeship Training The enterprise agrees to work with the union to improve apprenticeship training and the number of apprentices in training.

  • Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Off the Job Training Where it is agreed that an employee undertakes job related training provided by the Employer or by a Third Party, that training may be undertaken either on or off the job. Where courses are available during normal working hours, the employee has first option of attending training at these times. If such training is undertaken during normal working hours, the employee concerned will not suffer any loss of pay. Where the Employer requires an employee to undertake mandatory job related training after hours, single time rates shall apply. Any costs associated with standard fees for prescribed courses and prescribed textbooks (except those textbooks which are available in the Employer's technical library) incurred in connection with the undertaking of training will be reimbursed by the Employer upon production of evidence of such expenditure. Provided that reimbursement will also be on an annual basis subject to the presentation of reports of satisfactory progress. Travel costs incurred by an employee undertaking training in accordance with this clause which exceed those normally incurred in travelling to and from work will be reimbursed by the Employer.
