Adjunct Faculty Liaison. The adjunct faculty liaison will be selected by SVCFT in consultation with college administration to serve as a liaison for adjunct faculty in the District. 3.13.1 The role of the adjunct faculty liaison will be to communicate adjunct faculty concerns to SVCFT and College administration. 3.13.2 The adjunct faculty liaison will be paid 5 FCU’s for each of fall, winter, and spring quarters at the Step A adjunct faculty rate. SVCFT will reimburse the College for 50% of the actual costs for this position.

Adjunct Faculty Liaison. To ensure consistent content and quality of instruction in courses taught by full-time and adjunct faculty members, full-time faculty members may be designated as Adjunct Faculty Liaisons within a particular course or courses, by mutual agreement with the division Xxxx and subject to the approval of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.  assisting in the screening and selection of prospective adjunct faculty members;  orienting and updating the adjunct faculty member as to course learning objectives, requirements, available resources and instructor responsibilities;  assisting the adjunct faculty member as needed; and  conducting classroom evaluation visits to the adjunct faculty member’s classes according to the direction of the Xxxx based upon the provisions of the Adjunct Faculty Federation contract or other applicable college policies. To the extent reasonable, adjunct faculty liaison assignments shall be above and beyond the faculty member’s full normal teaching load. A faculty member serving as an adjunct faculty liaison shall receive workload credit as follows: Single Section Multiple Sections For each adjunct faculty member who is teaching a course 0.15 semester hr 0.25 semester hr “Adjunct faculty,” as used in this section, refers to any person other than a full-time faculty member or full-time or part-time technical assistants, and may specifically include members of the professional and administrative staff who do not possess faculty rank and tenure.

  • Liaison Each Party shall designate a liaison to facilitate a cooperative working relationship between the Contractor and the Agency in the performance and administration of this Contract.

  • Investigational Services This plan covers certain experimental or investigational services as described in this section. This plan covers clinical trials as required under R.I. General Law § 27-20-60. An approved clinical trial is a phase I, phase II, phase III, or phase IV clinical trial that is being performed to prevent, detect or treat cancer or a life-threatening disease or condition. In order to qualify, the clinical trial must be: • federally funded; • conducted under an investigational new drug application reviewed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); or • a drug trial that is exempt from having such an investigational new drug application. To qualify to participate in a clinical trial: • you must be determined to be eligible, according to the trial protocol; • a network provider must have concluded that your participation would be appropriate; and • medical and scientific information must have been provided establishing that your participation in the clinical trial would be appropriate. If a network provider is participating in a clinical trial, and the trial is being conducted in the state in which you reside, you may be required to participate in the trial through the network provider. Coverage under this plan includes routine patient costs for covered healthcare services furnished in connection with participation in a clinical trial. The amount you pay is based on the type of service you receive. Coverage for clinical trials does not include: • the investigational item, device, or service itself; • items or services provided solely to satisfy data collection and that are not used in the direct clinical management; or • a service that is clearly inconsistent with widely accepted standards of care.

  • Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) System 1. request access to CMBHS via the CMBHS Helpline at (000) 000-0000. 2. use the CMBHS time frames specified by System Agency. 3. use System Agency-specified functionality of the CMBHS in its entirety. 4. submit all bills and reports to System Agency through the CMBHS, unless otherwise instructed.

  • Liaisons Each party shall designate a representative to serve as its liaison in all matters arising under this Agreement, and shall furnish in writing the name of each representative to the other party.

  • Telemedicine Services This plan covers clinically appropriate telemedicine services when the service is provided via remote access through an on-line service or other interactive audio and video telecommunications system in accordance with R.I. General Law § 27-81-1. Clinically appropriate telemedicine services may be obtained from a network or non- network provider, and from our designated telemedicine service provider. When you seek telemedicine services from our designated telemedicine service provider, the amount you pay is listed in the Summary of Medical Benefits.   • Orally Administered Anticancer Medication In accordance with RIGL § 27-20-67, prescription drug coverage for orally administered anticancer medications is provided at a level no less favorable than coverage for intravenously administered or injected cancer medications covered under your medical benefit.

  • Contractor Project Manager The Contractor Project Manager shall serve, from the Effective Date, as the Contractor project manager and primary Contractor representative under this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall (i) have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating the performance of Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement, including the performance of all Subcontractors; and (ii) be authorized to act for and bind Contractor and Subcontractors in connection with all aspects of this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall respond promptly and fully to all inquiries from the JBE Project Manager.

  • Principal Investigator The Research will be supervised by __________________ ("Principal Investigator"). If for any reason the individual is unable to continue to serve as Principal Investigator and a successor acceptable to both the University and the Sponsor is not available, this agreement shall be terminated as provided in Article 9. The Principal Investigator may work with others at the University (“Associates”) in conducting the Research.

  • Geotechnical Investigation Perform in accordance with the City Design Manual and other City requirements as designated in writing by the Director.
