Adjustment of Starting Salaries. The parties recognize by this contract the County’s desire to increase the professionalism of the staff. In recognition thereof, the parties have agreed effective January 1, 2007, the annual base salary in the bargaining unit for calendar years 2007 and 2008 shall be increased prospectively as follows for eligible bargaining unit members: (a) Employees in the SJDO and SYGW job titles receive a $4,000 adjustment to their annual base salaries, payable half effective 1/1/07 and half effective 1/1/08, each after computing and applying to the annual base salary the NWI & PI, if the PI is earned. (b) SJDOs who were successfully graduated from the Juvenile Detention Officer Training Academy shall receive a $4000 adjustment to their annual base salary, effective half as of 1/1/07 and half as of 1/1/08, after computing and applying to the annual base salary the NWI and PI, if the PI is earned. (c) Employees in the titles of Head Teacher (“HT”) and (“PC”) Project Coordinator shall receive a $1,000 adjustment to their annual base salary, effective 1/1/07, after computing and applying to the annual salary the NWI and PI, if the PI is earned. (d) Performance Evaluation (PI”) 1. In the event an employee is on authorized leave during the rating period, they shall be rated as soon as practible after their return to active employment and any incentive increase shall be pro-rated upon the completion of the evaluation process. 2. In the event an employee does not receive a favorable performance rating as of December of each calendar year they shall forego the incentive in the calendar year following such rating.

  • Starting Salary All bargaining-unit positions will be hired at a starting salary commensurate with their experience. It is expected that those salaries will typically be within 20% of employees within that unit at a similar rank and/or experience level. In exceptional cases, bargaining-unit positions may be hired at a salary above that range contingent on extraordinary experience and extramural funding.

  • Performance Adjustment Rate Except as otherwise provided in sub-paragraph (e) of this paragraph 3, the Performance Adjustment Rate is 0.02% for each percentage point (the performance of the Portfolio and the Index each being calculated to the nearest .01%) that the Portfolio's investment performance for the performance period was better or worse than the record of the Index as then constituted. The maximum performance adjustment rate is 0.20%. For purposes of calculating the performance adjustment of the portfolio, the portfolio's investment performance will be based on the performance of the retail class. The performance period will commence with the first day of the first full month following the retail class's commencement of operations. During the first eleven months of the performance period for the retail class, there will be no performance adjustment. Starting with the twelfth month of the performance period, the performance adjustment will take effect. Following the twelfth month a new month will be added to the performance period until the performance period equals 36 months. Thereafter the performance period will consist of the current month plus the previous 35 months. The Portfolio's investment performance will be measured by comparing (i) the opening net asset value of one share of the retail class of the Portfolio on the first business day of the performance period with (ii) the closing net asset value of one share of the retail class of the Portfolio as of the last business day of such period. In computing the investment performance of the retail class of the Portfolio and the investment record of the Index, distributions of realized capital gains, the value of capital gains taxes per share paid or payable on undistributed realized long-term capital gains accumulated to the end of such period and dividends paid out of investment income on the part of the Portfolio, and all cash distributions of the securities included in the Index, will be treated as reinvested in accordance with Rule 205-1 or any other applicable rules under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as the same from time to time may be amended.

  • Payment of Salaries 5.5.1 Basis of Calculation The salaries of principals shall be paid fortnightly and the gross salary for a full pay period is calculated as 14/365ths of the annual salary rate. For broken periods the calculation is the number of days due multiplied by the annual rate and divided by 365.   • Adjustment of Shares (a) If at any time while unexercised Options are outstanding hereunder, there shall be any increase or decrease in the number of issued and outstanding shares of Common Stock through the declaration of a stock dividend or through any recapitalization resulting in a stock split-up, combination or exchange of shares, then and in such event appropriate adjustment shall be made in the number of Shares and the exercise price per Share thereof then subject to this Option, so that the same proportion of the Company's issued and outstanding shares shall remain subject to purchase at the same aggregate exercise price. (d) Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the existence of this Option shall not affect in any manner the right or power of the Company to make, authorize or consummate (i) any or all adjustments, recapitalizations, reorganizations or other changes in the Company's capital structure or its business; (ii) any merger or consolidation of the Company; (iii) any issue by the Company of debt securities, or preferred or preference stock that would rank above the Shares subject to this Option; (iv) the dissolution or liquidation of the Company; (v) any sale, transfer or assignment of all or any part of the assets or business of the Company; or (vi) any other corporate act or proceeding, whether of a similar character or otherwise.

  • Contract Duration and Annual Salary 1. The College hereby employs the Administrator in the capacity of Director - Marketing Services, Associate Professor for one year, commencing on July 1, 2024 and terminating on June 30, 2025. The Administrator accepts such employment on the conditions hereinafter set forth, and any applicable provisions of the Board of Trustees Policy Manual. In the event of conflict between Board Policy and this Contract, the Contract shall govern. 2. For the 2024-2025 contract year, the Administrator shall receive an annual salary of $178,054.00 subject to applicable deductions, to be paid in bi-weekly installments as full compensation for all rights granted and service performed under this Contract.
