Adoption and Parental Leave. (a) Upon application, and employee will be granted leave of absence for 63 consecutive weeks or for up to 37 weeks following the birth or adoption of the employee's child. The employee will have to furnish a medical certificate or other evidence stating the date of birth of the child or, where applicable, proof of adoption.
