ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. 5.4.1 Where a person was employed by an employer under this award immediately prior to entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement as an adult apprentice with that employer, such person shall not suffer a reduction in the rate of pay by virtue of entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement. 5.4.2 For the purpose only of fixing a rate of pay the adult apprentice shall continue to receive the rate of pay that applies to the classification or class of work specified in clause 5.1 in which the adult apprentice was engaged immediately prior to entering into the contract of indenture. 5.4.3 N/A 5.4.3A Subject to clauses 5.4.1 and 5.4.2, the minimum rate of pay of an adult apprentice shall be as set out in Column 4 of the table in clause 5.3.1(b)A. 5.4.4 N/A 5.4.5 N/A 5.4.5A Adult apprentices’ rates are established on the following basis: Year of Apprenticeship AWARD REFERENCE
