Common use of Advance Notice of Lay-Off Clause in Contracts

Advance Notice of Lay-Off. Unless legislation is more favourable to the employee, the Centre shall notify employees who are to be laid off fifteen (15) days prior to the effective date of the lay-off. If the employee has not had the opportunity to work the days as provided in this article, she shall be paid for the days for which work was not made available.
