Air Quality Improvements. ‌ Airline acknowledges that in order to protect existing Airport operations, to improve air quality in the region, to meet requirements associated with the expansion of the Airport, and to otherwise comply with federal and state air quality laws, the Port will be required to implement certain changes to operating practices to address any newly regulated air pollutant or contaminant in accordance with applicable Environmental Laws, including without limitation those related to climate change and indoor air quality. In addition, the Port may adopt new Best Management Practices that it will request Airline to voluntarily comply with, such as Airline's conversion of ground service equipment and support vehicles to alternative fuels and use of 400 Hz power. The Port agrees to consult with Airline during the development of such Best Management Practices to ensure that such efforts are reasonably achievable and cost effective. Airline agrees to utilize the 400 Hz power already provided on the jet bridge. Airline will cooperate with the Airport to identify cost-effective ways to minimize contributions to climate change.

Air Quality Improvements a. Management will review Forest Service owned or leased facilities and, where necessary, make adjustments to facility air handling system(s) to improve air quality. In leased facilities, where the Forest Service cannot make changes, Management will request appropriate changes from the building owner or manager or from GSA. Potential improvements will be in alignment with current CDC Ventilation In Buildings guidance. Tools referenced currently include, but are not limited to: i. Increasing ventilation rates, where feasible. ii. Confirming ventilation systems operate properly and continue to provide acceptable indoor air quality for each space’s current occupancy level. iii. Increasing outdoor air, where feasible. iv. Improving central air filtration to the highest level compatible with the existing filter rack and sealing edges of the filter to limit bypass. v. Increasing air exchanges. Considering HEPA filters or other room-based air filtration for placement in the facility when other measures are not feasible or practical to improve air quality. b. Upon request, Management will inform the Local union what modifications are being made to the air quality system for the facility or will explain why no changes are being made. c. Further procedures and arrangements related to the actions taken by Management in improving air quality, related to COVID-19 response, are negotiable at the local level. d. Where local building safety and engineering requirements allow, employees will be permitted to provide their own portable air filter (for example, HEPA filter) near their office or worksite. e. In situations where there have been 3 or more cases in a building within a 30-day period, Management will notify the Union at the local level of steps, if any, being taken to prevent future transmission in the worksite.

  • Quality Improvement VRC shall develop programs designed to improve the quality of care provided by the Radiologists and encourage identification and adoption of best demonstrated processes. Practice and VRC acknowledge that, in connection with such quality improvement activities, it may be necessary to provide VRC with Protected Health Information and Practice and VRC agree to treat such information in accordance with Article 9;

  • Air Quality To the extent applicable, Consultant must fully comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in furnishing or using equipment and/or providing services, including, but not limited to, emissions limits and permitting requirements imposed by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and/or California Air Resources Board (CARB). Although the SCAQMD and CARB limits and requirements are more broad, Consultant shall specifically be aware of their application to "portable equipment", which definition is considered by SCAQMD and CARB to include any item of equipment with a fuel-powered engine. Consultant shall indemnify City against any fines or penalties imposed by SCAQMD, CARB, or any other governmental or regulatory agency for violations of applicable laws, rules and/or regulations by Consultant, its subconsultants, or others for whom Consultant is responsible under its indemnity obligations provided for in this Agreement.

  • Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Control The hospital in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) shall develop, establish and put into effect, musculoskeletal prevention and control measures, procedures, practices and training for the health and safety of employees.

  • Tenant's Improvements If the Lessor is the Insuring Party, the Lessor shall not be required to insure Lessee Owned Alterations and Utility Installations unless the item in question has become the property of Lessor under the terms of this Lease. If Lessee is the Insuring Party, the policy carried by Lessee under this Paragraph 8.3 shall insure Lessee Owned Alterations and Utility Installations.

  • Research Use Reporting To assure adherence to NIH GDS Policy, the PI agrees to provide annual Progress Updates as part of the annual Project Renewal or Project Close-out processes, prior to the expiration of the one (1) year data access period. The PI who is seeking Renewal or Close-out of a project agree to complete the appropriate online forms and provide specific information such as how the data have been used, including publications or presentations that resulted from the use of the requested dataset(s), a summary of any plans for future research use (if the PI is seeking renewal), any violations of the terms of access described within this Agreement and the implemented remediation, and information on any downstream intellectual property generated from the data. The PI also may include general comments regarding suggestions for improving the data access process in general. Information provided in the progress updates helps NIH evaluate program activities and may be considered by the NIH GDS governance committees as part of NIH’s effort to provide ongoing stewardship of data sharing activities subject to the NIH GDS Policy.

  • Existing Improvements All improvements located on the Site as of the date of execution of the Construction Contract, whether above or below the surface of the ground, including but not limited to existing buildings, utilities, infrastructure improvements and other facilities.

  • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract. a. The contractor shall notify all potential subcontractors and suppliers and lessors of their EEO obligations under this contract. b.   • School Improvement 1. The Board and the Association agree that employee participation in decision making is effective in providing positive results for education. 2. The provisions contained in this section shall apply to all school improvement plans, programs or processes set forth by school improvement committees established in the Xxxxxxx-Xxxxxx School District as a result of Section 1277 of the Revised School Code. 3. It is understood that participation on school improvement committees is voluntary. Further, employees who participate, or are non-participants, in such activities shall not be negatively evaluated for any conduct relative to such committees. 4. In the event that any provision(s) of a school improvement plan, program or process or application thereof violates, contradicts, or is inconsistent with this Collective Bargaining Agreement, the Collective Bargaining Agreement shall prevail.

  • Water Quality 8.1. The Supply shall comply with the quality standards imposed by the Act and the Water Quality Regulations, PROVIDED ALWAYS that where a particular standard is the subject of a legal instrument accepted or issued by the Secretary of State or the Chief Inspector of Drinking Water under the provisions of the Act or the Water Quality Regulations, compliance with the terms of the relevant legal instrument shall be deemed to be compliance with the relevant quality standard imposed by the Act or the Water Quality Regulations (as the case may be), in which case the Water Company shall provide the New Appointee with a certified copy of any such authorised departure or undertaking. Each party undertakes to keep the other party fully informed of any discussions which take place at any time hereafter with the Secretary of State for the proposed issue of a legal instrument and of the outcome thereof. 8.2. The Water Company shall act as a reasonable and prudent operator to ensure that the Water Company’s Distribution Network does not cause any contamination of the water in the New Appointee’s Water Distribution Network including suspending the Bulk Supply and, in any event, shall: 8.2.1. notify the New Appointee of the existence and cause (if known) of any contamination that it considers (acting as a reasonable and prudent operator) could affect the New Appointee’s Water Distribution Network as soon as practicable after the same have come to the Water Company’s attention; and 8.2.2. keep the New Appointee notified of the steps being taken to remedy the contamination. 8.3. Without prejudice to clause 8.1, the Water Company reserves the right to supply water of a different nature and composition or with different characteristics from that previously supplied where this results from the characteristics of the source or sources from which the Supply is taken, or the Water Company’s Distribution Network, beyond the reasonable control of the Water Company or if, in the due discharge of its statutory duty to supply water, it considers it necessary or desirable to do so acting reasonably and in good faith. 8.4. In addition, both parties agree to be bound by the provisions of the Water Quality Protocol or such modified version of such Water Quality Protocol as may from time to time be agreed in writing by the parties.
