Alternative Work Schedules and Teleworking - WDACS. Within 60 days of approval of the Board of Supervisors of the terms and conditions of the 2007 Reopener, Management will implement an alternate work schedules program within each APS unit. The program for each case carrying unit (field operations) will include: 1) teleworking and 2) 9/80. The program of each non-case carrying unit (Centralized Intake, Civic Center and After Hours) will include: 1) 9/80. Any Social Services Supervisor (SSS) assigned to a case carrying unit who has completed his or her probationary period may request to telework and/or work a 9/80 schedule. Management will select those persons to participate in the alternate work schedules program and will determine the parameters of the program, including designation of Regular Days Off (RDO). All employees will be deemed eligible to participate in the alternate work schedules program unless management determines that the individual employee cannot effectively telework because of his/her skills, experience or prior performance. Participation in teleworking shall not preclude participation in an alternate work schedule. The office administrator shall have the discretion to extend the number of telework days for an employee. For those SSSs assigned to case carrying units who elect to work a 9/80 schedule, management will allow one (1) the telework day per month. SSSs assigned to case carrying units who work a 5/40 schedule will be allowed to telework one (1) day per week. It is agreed that teleworking is a voluntary program and participation can be terminated at any time by either management or the participating employee.

  • Alternative Work Schedules Alternative work schedule means an approved schedule for an Employee that deviates from the work week described in Section 1, Section 2, or a schedule that deviates from a worksite’s normal schedule. Employees who work a “shift work schedule” as part of a rotating group of individuals who must continuously maintain a 24-hour operation or facility are not eligible for an alternative work schedule.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Alternate Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established for overtime-eligible employees by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the alternate work schedules meet federal and state law. When there is a holiday, employees may be required to switch from their alternate work schedules to regular work schedules.

  • Flexible Work Schedules (a) Academic Professional staff members throughout the University may have, as indicated below, flexible work schedules. For example, Academic Professionals often travel on University business and/or work evenings and weekends. A flexible work schedule is defined as having established working hours different from the standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday schedule, to be followed by an employee for an agreed upon period of time.

  • Hours of Work and Scheduling Provisions (b) In the event an Employee is scheduled to work on the evening or night Shift(s) on the day(s) or the night Shift commencing on the day(s) on which the Employee is called as a juror or witness in matters arising out of the Employee’s employment with the Employer, the Employee shall be granted a leave of absence for those scheduled Shift(s).

  • Statement of Work The Contractor shall provide the services and staff, and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of work, as set forth below:

  • Authorized User’s Statement of Work A competitive Mini-Bid is required for every transaction under this Centralized Contract. An Authorized User must prepare a detailed Statement of Work using Appendix F, Attachment 1, Mini-Bid Template. The Authorized User must distribute the Mini-Bid to all qualified Vendors per Lot(s) (unless a Vendor has removed itself from consideration via the Appendix F, Attachment 5, Mini-Bid Participation Interest Template). Contact information, organized by Lot, will be available on the OGS website for this Contract. An Authorized User shall conduct its Mini-Bid in accordance with the requirements set forth in Appendix F, Attachment 2, How to Use this Contract. The following terms and conditions shall apply to each Mini-Bid issued by an Authorized User:  An Authorized User may require the execution of unique forms, such as Confidentiality Non- Disclosure agreements; and  An Authorized User is required to make tentative award and non-award notifications to each Contractor who submitted a response to the Mini-Bid.
