Amount deducted each payroll period. 12 The County agrees to deduct each payroll period from the pay of 13 employees covered by this Agreement, in accordance with the terms of the contract 14 between the employees and the Union, one half (.5) of the current monthly Union 15 membership dues of those Union members who individually request such deductions in 16 writing on the form provided by the Union.
Amount deducted each payroll period. 9 The County agrees to deduct once each month from the pay of 10 employees covered by this Agreement the Association membership dues, fees, 11 costs, charges, and/or regular assessments of those Association members who 12 individually authorize such deductions in writing. Such authorization shall be 13 terminable upon such notice as is specified in the authorization.

The Union shall notify the City of the current rate of dues and other authorized deductions by the 10th of each month, which will enable the City to make the necessary payroll deductions as specified for that payroll period. If the payroll processing date changes due to changes in operations or software, the City shall notify the Union of the expected change.
