An Essentially Technical Process. Much of the above clearly demonstrates a series of technical processes that rely on statistical correlations. In particular, sensing software, such as those tasked with computer vision, undertake pattern recognition via pixel-by-pixel analysis of raw data and a comparison with image patterns stored in memory.23 There is little or no equivalence with human sensory perception and processing, and the more complex the software artefact, the more unpredictable is the output. As will be seen in 2.5.6, this may lead to inexplicable and counterintuitive errors, which – in a safety-critical context – could have catastrophic consequences.

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES The Pre-Construction Phase shall be deemed to commence upon the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Phase Services issued by Owner and shall continue through completion of the Construction Documents and procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements. Contractor is not entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred for Pre-Construction Phase Services performed before issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap Construction Phase Services. Contractor shall perform the following Pre-Construction Phase Services:

  • EXECUTION OF WORKS 40.1 The work execution will be carried out based on the documents as listed below.

  • Completion of Works Buildings will be considered complete on the issue of the City’s Certificate of Occupancy. Other structures will be considered complete on the issue of the Company’s engineers notification of the completion of construction, and by the City’s certification.

  • Statement of Work The Contractor shall provide the services and staff, and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of work, as set forth below:

  • COMPENSATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES 5.1 For the Construction Manager’s performance of the Work as described in Section 2.3, the Owner shall pay the Construction Manager the Contract Sum in current funds. The Contract Sum is the Cost of the Work as defined in Section 6.1.1 plus the Construction Manager’s Fee.

  • Authorized User’s Statement of Work A competitive Mini-Bid is required for every transaction under this Centralized Contract. An Authorized User must prepare a detailed Statement of Work using Appendix F, Attachment 1, Mini-Bid Template. The Authorized User must distribute the Mini-Bid to all qualified Vendors per Lot(s) (unless a Vendor has removed itself from consideration via the Appendix F, Attachment 5, Mini-Bid Participation Interest Template). Contact information, organized by Lot, will be available on the OGS website for this Contract. An Authorized User shall conduct its Mini-Bid in accordance with the requirements set forth in Appendix F, Attachment 2, How to Use this Contract. The following terms and conditions shall apply to each Mini-Bid issued by an Authorized User:  An Authorized User may require the execution of unique forms, such as Confidentiality Non- Disclosure agreements; and  An Authorized User is required to make tentative award and non-award notifications to each Contractor who submitted a response to the Mini-Bid.   • Return of Materials Pertaining to Work Product Upon the request of Customer, but in any event upon termination or expiration of this Contract or a Statement of Work, Vendor shall surrender to Customer all documents and things pertaining to the Work Product, including but not limited to drafts, memoranda, notes, records, drawings, manuals, computer software, reports, data, and all other documents or materials (and copies of same) generated or developed by Vendor or furnished by Customer to Vendor, including all materials embodying the Work Product, any Customer confidential information, or Intellectual Property Rights in such Work Product, regardless of whether complete or incomplete. This section is intended to apply to all Work Product as well as to all documents and things furnished to Vendor by Customer or by anyone else that pertain to the Work Product.

  • Scope of Work and Deliverables 9.1 Background and Scope

  • USE OF WORK PRODUCTS 2.13.1 The City may use all Documents that Contractor prepares or obtains under this Agreement. In addition, Contractor shall provide the Director with supporting schedules, flow charts or other analysis necessary to understand the reported findings and recommendations. Generally, this information is attached as exhibits to the final report; however, if requested by the Director, Contractor shall provide this information from its work paper files.

  • Technical Support Services 2.1 The technical support services (the "Services"): Party A agrees to provide to Party B the relevant services requested by Party B, which are specified in Exhibit 1 attached hereto ("Exhibit 1").
