Ancillary Promotional Activities. No promotional activities will be permitted in the same room or obligate path as the educational activity. No product advertisements will be permitted in the program room.

No product advertisements will be permitted in the activity room. Providers are required by our policy and the CPME Standards to ensure that the program be objective, balanced, and scientifically rigorous.
Ancillary Promotional Activities a. Arrangements for exhibits may neither influence planning nor interfere with the presentation of the educational activity;
b. commercial/promotional materials may not be displayed nor distributed in the same room immediately before, during, or immediately after the CME activity nor in any material disseminated as part of the program;
c. representatives of commercial supporters and exhibitors may attend the CME activity if they wish, but may not engage in sales activity in the room where the educational activity is held. As the accredited CME sponsor of this educational activity, DUCOM requires all exhibitors to disclose through signage at exhibit booths, the FDA status of the medical devices or pharmaceuticals displayed. Further information on these rules and regulations may be obtained from the FDA.
Ancillary Promotional Activities. The Commercial Interest represents and warrants that arrangements for commercial exhibits or advertisements will not influence or interfere with the educational activity, nor will they be a condition for the provision of commercial support for the educational activity. The Provider represents and warrants that:
(a) Product promotion material or product-specific advertisement of any type will be prohibited in or during print, computer-based, audio and video recorded and live educational activities. Live (staffed exhibits or presentations) or enduring (printed or electronic advertisements) promotional activities will be kept separate from the educational activity, including presentations by sales representatives and/or commercial promotional exhibit booths; and
(b) it shall comply with ACCME Standard for Commercial Support 4.

Representatives of commercial interests may attend an educational activity, but may not engage in sales activities while in the room where the educational activity takes place.
