Anniversary Date. The anniversary date for classified employees shall be July 1. Each employee shall advance to the next step of his/her classification July 1, provided he/she was employed in the same classification in the District prior to March 1 of the preceding fiscal year. When he/she is promoted or reclassified to another position, the employee will be placed on the next salary step on July 1 following the promotion or reclassification.
