Appeal to Human Resources Director. If the employee does not accept the decision at Step 2, the employee may, within ten (10) days of the department head’s written answer, present the grievance in writing to the Human Resources Director or his/her designee. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee may discuss the grievance with the employee, the employee’s representative, and other appropriate persons as necessary. The Human Resources Director or his/her designee shall render a decision in writing to the employee within ten (10) days after receiving the grievance.
