Application for Employment Elsewhere. Any teacher of Xxxxxx High School has the right to make application for a position in another school district while still under contract with this School District. The teacher is free to accept employment elsewhere after the expiration of his/her contract with this School District, or if a tenured teacher, in accordance with State law. An application placed with another prospective employer shall not in any way prejudice such applicant's status in the teacher's present position, it being specifically understood, however, that a teacher in this School District shall honor his/her contract unless terminated in accordance with State law.
