Application of Collective Agreement. (a) The operation of this Article shall not be construed as a violation of the posting and/or scheduling provisions of Articles 7, 9, and 14. (b) Where an Employee works while on layoff in accordance with Article 15.06, the provisions of the Collective Agreement applicable to a casual Employee shall apply. (c) Should an Employee be affected pursuant to Article 15.02(a) while the Employee is on leave of absence, Workers’ Compensation or absent due to illness or injury, the Employee shall be served with notice under Article 15.02 after the Employee has advised the Employer of her or his readiness to return to work. (d) Other than for the continuance of seniority, discipline, grievance and arbitration rights and rights and benefits arising under this Article, an Employee’s rights while on layoff shall be limited to the right to recall.
