Applications for Financial Support. Applications for financial support to undertake professional development activities can be submitted on the designated form. Consideration and any approval or rejection to part or full financial assistance requested will be based on the proposed professional development wishing to be undertaken and the needs of the employer and the employee. (i) The employee requesting the support is to complete the Application for Professional Development Support (PDS) Form (or equivalent) and give it to their Manager. (ii) The Manager will assess the application and shall complete their relevant section and forward the application to the Executive Manager responsible for Allied health or delegated representative/committee for processing within 7 days of receiving the application. (iii) Review of the request by the Executive Manager or delegated representative/committee may take into consideration some or all of the following: a) The professional development needs of the employee b) The needs of the business c) The history of support already provided to the employee d) The relevance or application of the request to the current position held by the employee or probable future position/s e) The number of employees already approved to attend the same professional development event. f) Department and/or hospital budget provisions. g) Staffing needs at the time. h) Requirements to meet legislative and industry standards (iv) Reasons for approval or otherwise shall be sent back to the Manager to relay to the employee and handle the administration of the application if approved. (v) Subject to the above, Ramsay will not unreasonably withhold approval for applications for PDS. (vi) Where applications for professional development support are not approved, the Manager will provide the reason/s for the decision to the employee in writing. (vii) As it is common practice to review applications once a month at Education Committee meetings, as much notice as possible is recommended. Urgent requests may be considered directly by the Executive Manager.

  • FINANCIAL SUPPORT 3.1 The individual support from Erasmus+ EU funds for the mobility period is EUR […], corresponding to EUR […] per month and EUR […] per extra days. The final amount of Erasmus+ EU funds for the mobility period shall be determined by multiplying the number of months of the mobility covered by Erasmus+ EU funds specified in article 2.4 with the rate applicable per month for the receiving country concerned. In the case of incomplete months, the financial support from Erasmus+ EU funds is calculated by multiplying the number of days in the incomplete month with 1/30 of the unit cost per month. In such case, the institution shall ensure that the provision of services will meet the necessary quality and safety standards.] 3.3 The reimbursement of costs incurred in connection with special needs, when applicable, shall be based on the supporting documents provided by the participant. 3.4 The financial support may not be used to cover similar costs already funded by EU funds. 3.5 Notwithstanding article 3.4, the grant is compatible with any other source of funding including revenue that the participant could receive working beyond his/her studies/traineeship as long as he/she carries out the activities foreseen in Annex I. 3.6 The financial support or part thereof shall be repaid if the participant does not carry out the mobility activity in compliance with the terms of the agreement [NA to complete with specific recovery rules if needed]. If the participant terminates the agreement before it ends, he/she shall have to refund the amount of the grant already paid, except if agreed differently with the institution. However, when the participant has been prevented from completing his/her mobility activities as described in Annex I due to force majeure, he/she shall be entitled to receive at least the amount of the grant corresponding to the actual duration of the mobility period. Any remaining funds shall have to be refunded, except if agreed differently with the institution. Such cases shall be reported by the institution and accepted by the National Agency.

  • REQUESTS FOR FLEXIBLE WORKING ARRANGEMENTS 49.1 Employee may request change in working arrangements s.65 of the Act. Note 1: Section 65 of the Act provides for certain Employees to request a change in their working arrangements because of their circumstances, as set out in s.65(1A).

  • Payments for Distribution Assistance and Administrative Support Services (a) Payments to the Distributor. In consideration of the payments made by the Fund to the Distributor under this Plan, the Distributor shall provide administrative support services and distribution services to the Fund. Such services include distribution assistance and administrative support services rendered in connection with Shares (1) sold in purchase transactions, (2) issued in exchange for shares of another investment company for which the Distributor serves as distributor or sub-distributor, or (3) issued pursuant to a plan of reorganization to which the Fund is a party. If the Board believes that the Distributor may not be rendering appropriate distribution assistance or administrative support services in connection with the sale of Shares, then the Distributor, at the request of the Board, shall provide the Board with a written report or other information to verify that the Distributor is providing appropriate services in this regard. For such services, the Fund will make the following payments to the Distributor:

  • Technical Support Services 2.1 The technical support services (the "Services"): Party A agrees to provide to Party B the relevant services requested by Party B, which are specified in Exhibit 1 attached hereto ("Exhibit 1").

  • Technical Support State Street will provide technical support to assist the Fund in using the System and the Data Access Services. The total amount of technical support provided by State Street shall not exceed 10 resource days per year. State Street shall provide such additional technical support as is expressly set forth in the fee schedule in effect from time to time between the parties (the “Fee Schedule”). Technical support, including during installation and testing, is subject to the fees and other terms set forth in the Fee Schedule.

  • Administrative Support Service Fees Within forty-five (45) days of the end of each calendar quarter, the Fund will make payments in the aggregate amount of 0.0625% (0.25% on an annual basis) of the average during that calendar quarter of the aggregate net asset value of the Shares computed as of the close of each business day (the "Service Fee"). Such Service Fee payments received from the Fund will compensate the Distributor for providing administrative support services with respect to Accounts. The administrative support services in connection with Accounts may include, but shall not be limited to, the administrative support services that a Recipient may render as described in Section 3(b)(i) below.

  • Administrative Support Services Fees Within forty-five (45) days of the end of each calendar quarter or at such other period as deemed appropriate by the Distributor, the Fund will make payments in the aggregate amount of up to 0.25% on an annual basis of the average during the period of the aggregate net asset value of the Shares computed as of the close of each business day (the “Service Fee”). Such Service Fee payments received from the Fund will compensate the Distributor for providing administrative support services with respect to Accounts. The administrative support services in connection with Accounts may include, but shall not be limited to, the administrative support services that a Recipient may render as described in Section 3(b)(i) below.

  • CERTIFICATION REGARDING BOYCOTTING CERTAIN ENERGY COMPANIES (Texas law as of September 1, 2021) By submitting a proposal to this Solicitation, you certify that you agree, when it is applicable, to the following required by Texas law as of September 1, 2021: If (a) company is not a sole proprietorship; (b) company has ten (10) or more full-time employees; and (c) this contract has a value of $100,000 or more that is to be paid wholly or partly from public funds, the following certification shall apply; otherwise, this certification is not required. Pursuant to Tex. Gov’t Code Ch. 2274 of SB 13 (87th session), the company hereby certifies and verifies that the company, or any wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary, parent company, or affiliate of these entities or business associations, if any, does not boycott energy companies and will not boycott energy companies during the term of the contract. For purposes of this contract, the term “company” shall mean an organization, association, corporation, partnership, joint venture, limited partnership, limited liability partnership, or limited liability company, that exists to make a profit. The term “boycott energy company” shall mean “without an ordinary business purpose, refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with a company because the company (a) engages in the exploration, production, utilization, transportation, sale, or manufacturing of fossil fuel-based energy and does not commit or pledge to meet environmental standards beyond applicable federal and state law, or (b) does business with a company described by paragraph (a).” See Tex. Gov’t Code § 809.001(1).

  • Flexible Scheduling All posts experience a higher day-time volume than occurs during the night hours and the Parties agree to a flexible scheduling as outlined below to be compatible with the needs of the community served and availability of on-call staff and the members of the post’s full-time staff.

  • Flexible Working Arrangements In accordance with the Employment Relations Act 2000, an employee affected by family violence may request a short-term (two months or less) variation of their employment arrangements to assist the employee to deal with the effects of family violence.
