Appointment to Committees. All bargaining unit members of any SWWC or site committee shall be appointed by the Exclusive Representative.
Appointment to Committees. The Board of ------------ ------------------------- Directors and/or the Chairman of the Company and Jefferson Heritage shall appoint either of the New Directors (but not both) to the current Executive Committee, the Outside Loan Committee and the Employee Compensation and Benefit Committee of the Company and/or Jefferson Heritage (as requested by the New Directors) and shall allow either of the New Directors to remain on such committees for so long as he serves as a director of the Company. For so long as the New Directors are directors of the Company pursuant to this Agreement, the Company shall not consider matters or conduct business at committees of the Company, Jefferson Heritage or any other subsidiary or affiliate of the Company with the intent being to prevent or otherwise "freeze out" the New Directors from participating in the management of the affairs of the Company, Jefferson Heritage or their respective subsidiaries to the same extent as the other outside directors of the Company.
Appointment to Committees. The president of CSEA Chapter 234 shall have the right to appoint at least one unit member to serve on district committees, such as, but not limited to, budget, calendar, hiring, promotion, and policy committees.
Appointment to Committees. 2.6.1 The Association has the right to select representatives to designated district-wide committees. The Association may select the Association representatives, subject to the number of Association representatives authorized by the District. A day is defined as a day on which the District Office is open for business. 2.6.4 The District shall notify unit committee members in writing at least ten (10) days prior to the scheduled date of the first meeting of a new District-wide committee or of the first meeting of the year. District e-mail may be used to provide the written notice. A day is defined as a day on which the District Office is open for business. Barring extenuating circumstances, a minimum of 48 hours notice shall be given for all committee meetings not previously scheduled. 2.6.5 Designated District-wide committees are: Budget Review Committee Calendar Committee Health & Welfare/Insurance Committee Safety Committee Summer School Committee Technology Committee Textbook Adoption Committee Facilities Master Planning Committee District Strategic Planning Committee Committees formed under the provisions of 2.6.3 are automatically appended to this list.
Appointment to Committees. Whenever Civicorps forms any committee relating to matters within the scope of representation, Civicorps United shall have the right to select any unit member representative(s) who are to be appointed to serve on said committees.

  • Appointment of Arbitrators 1. Except to the extent that the competent authorities of the Contracting States mutually agree on different rules, paragraphs 2 through 4 shall apply for the purposes of Articles 24A to 24H. 2. The following rules shall govern the appointment of the members of an arbitration panel: (a) The arbitration panel shall consist of three individual members with expertise or experience in international tax matters. (b) Each competent authority shall appoint one panel member within 60 days of the date of the request for arbitration under paragraph 1 of Article 24A (Mandatory Binding Arbitration). The two panel members so appointed shall, within 60 days of the latter of their appointments, appoint a third member who shall serve as Chair of the arbitration panel. The Chair shall not be a national or resident of either Contracting State. (c) Each member appointed to the arbitration panel must be impartial and independent of the competent authorities, tax administrations, and ministries of finance of the Contracting States and of all persons directly affected by the case (as well as their advisors) at the time of accepting an appointment, maintain his or her impartiality and independence throughout the proceedings, and avoid any conduct for a reasonable period of time thereafter which may damage the appearance of impartiality and independence of the arbitrators with respect to the proceedings. 3. In the event that the competent authority of a Contracting State fails to appoint a member of the arbitration panel in the manner and within the time periods specified in paragraph 2 or agreed to by the competent authorities of the Contracting States, a member shall be appointed on behalf of that competent authority by the highest ranking official of the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development that is not a national of either Contracting State. 4. If the two initial members of the arbitration panel fail to appoint the Chair in the manner and within the time periods specified in paragraph 2 or agreed to by the competent authorities of the Contracting States, the Chair shall be appointed by the highest ranking official of the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development that is not a national of either Contracting State.

  • Appointment of Directors Immediately upon the Effective Time, Parent shall, in accordance with Section 2.3(d), accept the resignations and cause the appointments of those officers and directors of Parent identified in Exhibit C hereto, subject to any notice and waiting period requirements of federal law.   • Appointment and Removal of Directors The Directors shall be appointed and may be removed as follows: 4.2.1 The governing body of each Party shall appoint and designate in writing one regular Director who shall be authorized to act for and on behalf of the Party on matters within the powers of the Authority.
