Common use of APPRENTICESHIP AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

APPRENTICESHIP AGREEMENT. ‘Apprenticeship Agreement’ shall mean a written agreement between the Company and the person employed as an apprentice, and his/her parent or guardian (if he/she is a minor) which agreement shall be approved by the Secretary of the Committee and registered with the Registration Agencies and International Union, I.A.M. Every Apprenticeship Agreement entered into under these standards of apprenticeship, shall contain a clause making the standards part of the agreement with the same effect as if expressly written therein. For this reason every applicant (and his/her parent or guardian if he/she is a minor) shall be given an opportunity to read the standards before he/she signs the Apprenticeship Agreement. The following shall receive copies of the Apprentice Agreement.
