Common use of Arbitration of Disciplinary Grievances Clause in Contracts

Arbitration of Disciplinary Grievances. The parties agree that disciplinary grievances shall be heard in accordance with the following procedures, as appropriate: 54. 1.) Grievances involving suspensions of fifteen (15) days or less will be heard in an expedited fashion in accordance with the procedure set forth below. 55. 2.) Discharge grievances and grievances of disciplinary suspensions of greater than fifteen (15) days shall be heard by an arbitrator selected in accordance with the procedures in Section I.E., provided however that the parties may mutually agree to submit a discharge grievance to the expedited procedure.
