Archaeological Extended Phase I Report. Circlepoint will coordinate with Xxxx Xxxxxx, the County of Marin, Caltrans, and Circlepoint’s subconsultant Kleinfelder to obtain information and input needed for Kleinfelder to prepare the Archaeological XPI Report. Circlepoint will serve as the primary point of contract for communications with Caltrans Environmental staff. Circlepoint will review the Draft Archaeological XPI Report prepared by Kleinfelder following the completion of the archaeological testing efforts, to confirm the report is in Caltrans’ required format in accordance with the Caltrans SER. Kleinfelder will prepare an XPI Report detailing the methods and results of the archaeological testing, in Caltrans’ required format in accordance with the Caltrans SER. The report will include maps of testing locations, a summary of any cultural resources encountered during testing, and a statement regarding the presence or absence of cultural material within the Project APE. It is assumed that up to two archaeological resources may be observed and recorded on DPR 523 forms. Any DPR 523 forms prepared for the Project will be appended to the Report. Kleinfelder will address one round of comments from Caltrans before submitting the final report. Kleinfelder will submit the final memo to the Northwest Information Center (NWIC) of the California Historical Resources Information System (XXXXX), housed at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California, as required.
