Assessment for learning offers the greatest promise of helping all students to succeed. Educators must be assessment literate, understanding the principles of sound classroom assessment practice. It is important to offer in-service and professional development opportunities for principals, teachers, educational principals, teachers, educational assistants, Aboriginal education workers, Student Support Services (release, supplementary service, online). 2. Data-driven Evidence for Learning: offers evidence for the ongoing cycle of instructional improvement as it provides the use of data to inform instruction. The use of student profiles and formative assessment to provide evidence of learning. Improve staff understanding, knowledge, skills related to utilization of data/evidence including: 1. Using data to modify teaching and learning practice. 2. Using data to answer questions about student achievement/learning. 3. Teacher collaboration. 4. Assessment for Learning. Professional development resources and opportunities have been provided for schools and staff. The BCELC Assessment for Learning webcast series has been organized on our School District website in an easily accessed format. This video resource has been well utilized by both in-district and out-of-district staff. There is strong evidence that student achievement is significantly enhanced through descriptive feedback between students and teachers. This process requires significant changes in classroom practice. Current research indicates students who are engaged in their own learning not only have greater academic achievement; they also have greater self-esteem and sense of belonging (Xxxxx and Xxxxxxx, 1998).

Deductions made for rot, check, or other defects re- sulting from abnormal delay in Scaling caused by Pur- chaser shall be recorded separately and charged to Xxx- ber Sale Account under B3.47. Any timber that has been removed from Sale Area during the period of this contract, but remains unscaled after Termination Date, shall be Scaled at the earliest rea- sonable date.

  • Payment for leave (a) Payment will be made based on the number of ordinary hours the Employee would have worked on the day or days on which the leave was taken.

  • Payment for TIPS Sales TIPS Members may make payments for TIPS Sales directly to Vendor, Vendor’s Authorized Reseller, or as otherwise agreed to in the applicable Supplemental Agreement after receipt of the invoice and in compliance with applicable payment statutes. Regardless of how payment is issued or received for a TIPS Sale, Vendor is responsible for all reporting and TIPS Administration Fee payment requirements as stated herein.

  • Supervisor's Post-Probation Report Unless the probationary employee has previously been removed from probation, the principal or other supervisor shall submit a written report to the Superintendent at the end of the probationary period, which report shall identify whether the performance of the probationary employee has improved and which shall set forth one of the following recommendations for further action:

  • Payment for Project Services As full consideration for the Services to be performed by Contractor, City agrees to pay Contractor as set forth in accordance with the bid and not to exceed fee of $696,243.00 for the project. A monthly progress payment in the amount of ninety-five percent (95%) of the value of the work completed may be made every thirty (30) days upon application by the Contractor and certification by the Project Manager that such work has been completed. Partial payments will be made once each month as the work satisfactorily progresses and after acceptance by the authorized City representative. The progress estimates shall be based upon materials in place, or on the job site and invoiced, and labor expended thereon. From the total of the amount ascertained will be deducted an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the whole, which five percent (5%) will be retained by the City until after completion of the entire Contract in an acceptable manner. Any time after fifty percent (50%) of the value of the work has been completed, the City will make any of the remaining partial payments in full. No such estimates or payments shall be required to be made, when, in the judgment of the City Project Manager, the work is not proceeding in accordance with the provision of the Contract, or when in his judgment the total value of the work done since last estimate amounts to less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). The cost of materials conforming to the plans and specifications (materials being those which are required to be contained and incorporated in a finished contract bid item) delivered to the project and not at the time incorporated in the work, may also be included in the estimate for payment. No such estimate or payment shall be construed to be an acceptance of any defective work or improper material. The Contractor shall be responsible for, and shall not remove from the project any material that has been included in the estimate for payment. Final payment shall be made upon the Project Manager certifying that the Contractor has satisfactorily completed the work in conformity with the Contract Documents.

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.

  • Payment for Overtime 1. Except as provided in 2.C.3., below, overtime shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate.

  • Payment for Material Completion The Contractor may request payment of the remaining contract balance, including retainage, less amounts credited the Owner or incurred as liquidated damages, and less amounts withheld for the Punchlist by reason of Minor Items or Permitted Incomplete Work (See Paragraph 6.5.3.2). Payment for Material Completion shall be made by a check payable jointly to the Contractor and Surety and shall be mailed to the Surety.

  • Reimbursement for Travel Harford County Public Schools will reimburse employees for approved transportation at the rate established by the Internal Revenue Service. All requests for transportation reimbursement must be submitted to the Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services for prior approval before payment can be authorized.

  • PAYMENT FOR WORK The H-GAC Customer is responsible for making payment to the Contractor upon delivery and acceptance of the goods or completion of the services and submission of the subsequent invoice.
