Common use of Assigned Vehicles Clause in Contracts

Assigned Vehicles. All employees who are assigned a motor vehicle shall continue to have one provided by the Employer provided that the Sheriff determines that the motor vehicle is essential to the employee's job duties. In addition, such vehicles may be driven to and from work in accordance with existing policy, provided that the Sheriff determines that such use is reasonably essential to the employee's job duties. However, the FOPLC acknowledges that these vehicles assigned to employees shall not be considered as compensation and the Employer retains all rights to determine any and all use, assignment and discontinuance, including personal use, of such vehicles.
