The Hospital and the Union jointly recognize that it is the responsibility of each employee to be regular in his attendance at work so that. orderly schedules may be maintained without requiring overtime or causing undue inconvenience to other employees. Unjustified irregularity of attendance or lateness on the part of any employee shall render him liable for disciplinary action, which may range from equivalent monetary deduction up to dismissal from employment or flagrant or habitual violations of this rule. The Hospital shall pay the full cost of any medical certificates required of an employee.
