Audience Wales Survey Sample Clauses

Audience Wales Survey. (See Appendix D) In June 2007, the LCC commissioned Audience Wales to carry out extensive research into the feasibility of the project, taking into account both the needs of the community and other amenities offered in the locality. Key points arising from research  The Old School is a much loved building and it should be retained if possible.  The cabin provides inadequate facilities and is dilapidated in appearance..  The facilities are fully used This survey provided the evidence that the project would provide the facilities needed and supported by the community and therefore the project was initiated. An architect was appointed and in 2009 the outline plans were presented to the Community at meetings with the Lisvane Community Association (LCA), all the neighbouring properties, regular users of the existing facilities, articles in the Village Magazine, and a number of public exhibitions. All residents were invited to comment and attend workshops to provide the opportunity for as much feedback as possible. On analysis, 97% of the feedback questionnaires returned, expressed full support for the plans. Additional suggestions resulted in a number of modifications to the design of the building. This demonstrates there is substantial community support for the development and involvement in the design. There is a permanent display in the Community Library and also the main features have been displayed on the Community Website
