Authorization for Check Off Dues. “I hereby authorize and direct the Company to deduct from my pay, the Union membership initiation fee, dues and assessments or agency fees in the amounts fixed in accordance with the By-Laws of Local Union 589 and the Constitution of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and pay same to said Local Union in accordance with the terms of the Bargaining Agreement between the employers and the Union. This authorization shall be irrevocable for a period of one (1) year from the date hereof or until the termination date of said Agreement, whichever occurs sooner, and I agree that this authorization shall be automatically renewed and irrevocable for successive periods of one (1) year unless revoked by written notice to you and the Union ten (10) days prior to the expiration of each one year period, or of each applicable bargaining agreement between the Employer and the Union, whichever occurs sooner.” (Fees, dues and assessments covered by this authorization are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax purposes.) “Signature Date Department ”

  • Revocation of Authorization 1. Either Party may revoke, suspend or limit the operating authorizations or technical permissions of an airline designated by the other Party where:

  • Certification for Federal-Aid Contracts Lobbying Activities A. The CONSULTANT certifies, by signing and submitting this Contract, to the best of its knowledge and belief after diligent inquiry, and other than as disclosed in writing to the LPA prior to or contemporaneously with the execution and delivery of this Contract by the CONSULTANT, the CONSULTANT has complied with Section 1352, Title 31, U.S. Code, and specifically, that:

Section 313, 23 C.F.R. Section 635.410, as amended, and the Steel and Iron Preference provisions of Texas Transportation Code Section 223.045, to the extent applicable.   • Termination for Withdrawal of Authority Enterprise Services may suspend or terminate this Master Contract if, during the term hereof, Enterprise Services’ procurement authority is withdrawn, reduced, or limited such that Enterprise Services, in its judgment, would lack authority to enter into this Master Contract; Provided, however, that such suspension or termination for withdrawal of authority shall only be effective upon twenty (20) days prior written notice; and Provided further, that such suspension or termination for withdrawal of authority shall not relieve any Purchaser from payment for goods and/or services already ordered as of the effective date of such notice. Except as stated in this provision, in the event of such suspension or termination for withdrawal of authority, neither Enterprise Services nor any Purchaser shall have any obligation or liability to Contractor.
