Dues and Assessments. (a) The Employer shall deduct from the wages of each employee in the bargaining unit an amount equal to the regular dues payable to the Union by a member of the union. At the time of hire each employee shall provide, as a condition of continued employment, the Employer with a written authorization to make such deductions. (b) The Employer shall deduct from each employee covered by this collective agreement, all union dues, assessments and initiation fees levied in accordance with the Union Constitution and/or Bylaws and owing by the employee to the Union and remit such money to the Union’s provincial office. (c) Deduction shall be made each pay period. (d) The Union shall advise the Employer, in writing, of the amount of its regular dues. The amount so advised shall continue to be the amount to be deducted until changed by written notice to the Employer by the Union. Upon receipt of such notice the changed amount shall be the amount deducted.

Each employee shall provide, as a condition of continued employment, the Employer with a written authorization to make such deductions. (b) The Employer shall deduct from each employee, who is a member of the Union, any assessments levied in accordance with the Union Constitution and/or Bylaws and owing by the employee to the Union and remit such money to the Union. The Employer shall also provide the Union with member information including the following: • Social Insurance Number • Surname, First Name • Job Classification Number • Monthly DuesGross Pay Such information shall be submitted in report form. (d) The Union shall advise the Employer in writing of the amount of its regular monthly dues. The amount so advised shall continue to be the amount to be deducted until changed by written notice to the Employer signed by the President of the Union. Upon receipt of such notice, the changed amount shall be the amount deducted.

Upon receipt of such notice the changed amount shall be the amount deducted.
Dues and Assessments. The Board agrees to deduct from the first day of employment any assignments and assessments levied in accordance with the Union's constitution. The Union will advise the Board in writing of any dues or assessments that may be levied or revised from time to time. Dues and Assessments. All members covered by the Union Certificate of Bargaining Authority shall pay to the Union an amount equal to the Union's dues, and any general, bargaining unit-wide assessment(s), such payments to be made by payroll deduction. This deduction shall become effective on the first day of the month coincident with or next following the date of appointment; but the deduction shall be made only if the member is still in the employ of the Employer on the final day of the first pay period in that month. Deductions shall be made in respect of all subsequent months provided a member works any part of the month. These arrangements shall remain in effect for so long as this Union remains the recognized bargaining agent.

Dues and Assessments. All officers covered by the terms of this Agreement who are members of the PBPA shall be required to pay uniform dues and assessments in amounts certified by the PBPA. Officers covered by this Agreement are not required to join the PBPA or maintain PBPA membership as a condition of employment, but shall pay a service charge or fair share amount to the PBPA, not to exceed the normal PBPA dues and assessments, being their proportionate share of the costs of negotiating and administering this Agreement. The amount certified by the PBPA shall not include any fees for contributions related to the election or support of any candidate for political office. Nothing herein shall preclude an officer from making voluntary political contributions in conjunction with his fair share payment.
