Common use of Authorized Leave Verification Clause in Contracts

Authorized Leave Verification. Prior to approval of any paid leave, the District may require a unit member to furnish a doctor’s certificate, affidavit or other documentation, appropriate to the circumstances, on forms prescribed by the District, as verification of illness or other reason for authorized leave. Verification may be required when the District has reasonable grounds to question the validity of any request for approved leave.
