Common use of Authorized Leaves of Absence of Less Clause in Contracts

Authorized Leaves of Absence of Less. Than Twelve Months An employee on an authorized leave of absence for less than twelve (12) months (or two consecutive leaves of absence totalling less than twelve (12) months) shall, upon his or her return to work, be assigned to his or her former position. If the employee’s former position has been eliminated during his or her absence he or she shall be subject upon his or her return to the provisions of Article 43, Employment Security.
