Authorized Travel Compensation Sample Clauses

Authorized Travel Compensation. A member who has been authorized to travel on the business of the City and which business and travel requires that he stay overnight away from his home or the fire station shall receive a per diem allowance of forty dollars ($40.00) which shall be an allowance for the cost of meals and all other personal expenses to the member except his cost of transportation. The City will make lodging reservations where required and will pay the cost. A member who has been authorized to travel in the business of the City involving not less than eight (8) hours travel and work in the day (but not overnight) shall receive a per diem of thirty-five dollars ($35.00).
