Averages and Maximums. The Local Control Funding Formula (“LCFF”) establishes Class Size Grade Span Adjustment (“GSA”). Pursuant to the LCFF, the parties agree to adhere to the established class size GSA. establish a collectively bargained alternative class size ratio. Accordingly, for the 2013-2014, and 2014-2015 school years only, class sizes in kindergarten (including Transitional Kindergarten) and grades one (1) through three (3) will be adjusted as follows: For the 2013-2014 school year only, the maximum student-teacher ratio in Kindergarten shall remain at 20:1 and the student to teacher ratio in grades one (1) through three (3), shall remain at 32:1. For the 2014-2015 school year only, the maximum student-teacher ratio in Kindergarten shall remain at 24:1 and the student to teacher ratio in grades one (1) through three (3), shall remain at 32:1. For the 2015-2016 school year only, school sites shall maintain the negotiated maximum to a student teacher ratio in Kindergarten of 24:1 and shall decrease the student-teacher ratio in grades one (1) through three (3) by one (1) student to 31:1. For the 2016-2017 school year only, school sites shall maintain the negotiated maximum to a student teacher ratio in Kindergarten of 24:1 and shall decrease the student-teacher ratio in grades one (1) through three (3) by two (2) students to 29:1. 2013-2014 2014-2015 2015-2016 2016-2017 Kindergarten 20 24 24 24 2nd 32 32 31 29 The intent of the parties is that this agreement addresses any and all obligations of the parties to have a collectively bargained alternative ratio. The parties’ agreement on these issues is required to preserve the additional Class Size Reduction adjustment grant, as currently in the LCFF provisions, including Education Code section 42238.02. SUSD and STA agree to continue to work together for the purpose of reducing class size with the goal of making progress towards the GSA established by LCFF. To assist with obtaining this goal, the District and STA agree to establish a GSA committee with equal numbers of members from STA and the District. The committee will be comprised of two individuals selected by STA and two individuals selected by the District. The committee will look at District programs and departments to make recommendations to the District and STA bargaining teams regarding where re-purposing could assist the District to achieve the target class sizes established by LCFF.   • Outages and Maintenance In the event that a Registry Operator plans maintenance, it will provide notice to the ICANN emergency operations department, at least, twenty-four (24) hours ahead of that maintenance. ICANN’s emergency operations department will note planned maintenance times, and suspend Emergency Escalation services for the monitored services during the expected maintenance outage period. If Registry Operator declares an outage, as per its contractual obligations with ICANN, on services under a service level agreement and performance requirements, it will notify the ICANN emergency operations department. During that declared outage, ICANN’s emergency operations department will note and suspend emergency escalation services for the monitored services involved.
