Common use of Award Modification Clause in Contracts

Award Modification. Clause 18.3 modifies Clause 19 – Holiday Work of the Award by substituting payment at double time and one half for working on a public holiday with payment at the ordinary rate of pay due to the inclusion of penalties for working 5 public holidays (38 hours) per annum in the hourly rate of pay.
